Fabulous 8.8 From 442 reviews

Very good 8.0
Great location and pleasant staff. One incidence happened with another guest in this hotel was their room was broken into and cash was stolen. The hotel staff did not want to call police and they have to travel to the police station a couple of times very late in the night. I think the receptionist could have offer better help to the couple as they were stressed going through the process. The hotel management did the right thing the following day to compensate for the problem. It's unfortunate but I believe it's a very rare and isolated incidence. Would I stay at this hotel again? The answer is Yes. It's a nice place to stay and a good location.

Exceptional 10.0
A hotel which calls for an "encore" !
This was a special trip for my family .Two weeks in Europe, o f which one week we were to spend in Paris. While I have been to Paris before, my husband and son had not. I wanted a hotel that was reasonably central so we can move around with ease and was reluctant to stay at the Atlantic simply because I have not heard about it before. we stayed from June 11 to June 18 We were going to be in Nice with a different boutique hotel which had a location in Paris, and I was tempted to use the same brand. The reviews were encouraging about the Atlantic however, and I noticed the manager always responded to the comments posted regardless, which was encouraging. Hotel was close to St. Lazare train station, SO I went ahead and booked. When we arrived there was some construction around the hotel and I started to worry. As soon as we went inside - I knew I made the right decision with the Atlantic. Front desk staff - Leititia and Hussein were very welcoming and helpful. I wanted to ensure we are getting a suitable room for the three of us and they assured me it was. We went upstairs and were pleasantly surprised. Front desk staff mentioned above along with Aida on other days - were very helpful, put up with my broken French and always responsive. There is a solo person managing the hotel after 11:00 who was also very helpful and responsive. We had some problems with the wifii, and the manager Mr. Phillipe stepped in immediately to resolve for us making different suggestions

Good 6.0
Hotel close to train station
Hotel is in good location. Just a lot of noise due to construction right across hotel. Train station was very close to hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops around the area. Gallerie Lafayette is walking distance. There is a small convenient store nearby for any incidentals needed, like water or soda. There is also a Pharmacy very close by for personal needs. Hotel does not have a can opener which we requested, inspite of having a kitchen in the premises, since they serve breakfast. We had an emergency with the safe and we were not able to open it. Our passports were inside the safe and with a few hours before pick up to the airport, front desk person could not do anything about it and would have to wait til the morning. Front desk kept calling the Manager, but unfortunately and to our dispappointment , we were told that Manager was asleep. This is a hotel and there should be a Manager on duty always and should be able to handle emergency situations ASAP. Thank God our pick up was 6am and the front desk called the company to open the safe at 5:30 a.m. The safe was finally opened at 5:49 a.m. This emergency situation was handled poorly. This hotel should learn from this situation because there are a lot of earlier flights and pick up from hotel starts at 2am or 3am (flights from Rome to LA were this early). How can someone leave withoiut their passports. Very stressful !!!! It;'s sad to know that there is no Manager after 12 am to handle emergencies.

Very good 8.0
Like: Location is near the station. Room is spacious, beds are comfortable and toilet is clean. Dislike: the shower water is too weak in the bath room (1/f) and the hot water will suddenly change to cold water... Bad experience: We are a family of 4 (with two kids, 12 and 9), booked and fully paid online for 6 nights before accommodation for a 3-people room which has an extra large double bed and a single bed. The double bed is far more enough for 3 people of us. However, on the second morning, reception staff said due to policy and insurance, the room cannot be used by 4 people. We are requested to book for a single room for the forth person. We explained that since we were searching for 3-people room (as not many hotels have family room for 4) since some hotels allow kids not occupying bed to live in but we did not aware this hotel is strictly forbidden. We agreed to upgrade to 4-people room but due to unavailability, we have to pay for one night for a single room (charged at E$74) and 4 nights (E$30 per night) for the difference of upgrading to a 4-people room. Bad experience, need to pay extra, pack luggage and move room during the stay. The front desk staff handling our case is cool and her attitude is unfriendly and a bit arrogant.

Very clean hotel but Neighborhood was pretty rough
This hotel gets an A+ for cleanliness and the staff is very helpful and friendly. There are nice places to eat and it's close to the train station and metro but the area is rough. Guys drinking alcohol everywhere and pissing publicly, some were rude to me and aggressive towards my 17 year old son. Everyday, they feed the homeless at the park across the street which is nice but not usually what I want to be around when vacationing.. If this hotel was in a nicer area, it would be 5 star but the neighborhood wasn't that nice. Lastly the rooms were tiny. We could barely fit our bags and walk next to the bed. I realize rooms are small in Paris but I saw many of the other ones and they were much bigger. Plus our view was of nothing but the back of the building. So that sucked too.
