Absolutely first class service at Meritel
Meritel provided the most impressive customer service I have ever received from anywhere with how they handled our stay. Stayed here for 4 nights recently. The location is excellent in the old quarter and walking distance to most tourist attractions. The hotel itself looks lovely from the outside and the lobby (nice boutique feel) and smells nice. The staff is helpful and welcomed us/opened doors every time. Check-in was good with welcome tea. Check out was easy. They also prepared our room with a special birthday message for me which I appreciated. Wifi was good, room was a little small but expected in a huge city like Hanoi in a very busy part of town. Nicely decorated with real painted canvases above the bed and was super clean. Overall has a wonderful stay and would recommend.

The rooms do not have insulation. You hear every noise. We stayed in two different rooms and heard everything our neighbors did. First, we were on the 6th floor. We could the guests next to our room argue. Then we stayed on the 8th floor. We could hear every single sound from the rooftop bar. The lobby is beautiful, the breakfast is nice. But we could not sleep either night we stayed here.
