Great location, expensive parking, noisy at night
The location was fabulous with our balcony facing straight out onto the beach. The parking was $30 a night, which I thought was a bit steep when we'd already paid a pretty high price for the room. On the Friday night, there was a very loud live band downstairs, playing awesome music, but it made it absolutely impossible to sleep until the early hours of the morning. The Saturday night there was a DJ but it was a lot quieter and we were able to sleep. The other nights were fine. The bedroom had sliding doors to shut it off from the rest of the area (which is why I booked it so our toddler could sleep and we could stay up) but the doors were frosted glass and when you had any of the lights on in the main area, it lit up the room like daylight. It would be great if the doors were solid or there were blinds/curtains.

Discrimination against disabled people
We did not stay they had no disabled rooms and that is what I booked when I got to check in they told me they’ve never had any disabled dreams and I could not have booked it if I booked it through a third-party it was your fault it’s either Hotels.com or discriminating against disabled people or the hotel is discriminating against disabled people not happy at all with the service I got from either Hotels.com or the hotel

In addition Fri/Sat nights can be disruptive with a late night pub venue on site that plays loud musci and it is not contolled by the hotel managment team. Dont book a a lower level floor

This was a great location for us to base ourselves while we stayed in Adelaide. The staff were really helpful. The shower was TERRIBLE in our room. The screen was fixed and too small, so every time you showered the rest of the bathroom ended up soaked. The soap tray was so corroded I wasn’t game to put my toiletries on it, and while water pressure was okay, the temperature was difficult to maintain. We weren’t expecting daily housekeeping, so when we got this, it was a pleasant surprise.

Great location but you do need to put up with a bit of street noise Friday and Saturday nights probably until midnight or 1am. Very comfortable apartment and great views

We had an excellent room overlooking the ocean. It was clean and a good layout. The Oaks is in walking distance to everything in Glenelg. East to get to the tram and head into town. Staff were very accommodating.

Worst Room in the Hotel
I stay at the Oats 2 or 3 times per year for work. But was given room 101 which is wrapped around the elevators. Worst room in the hotel for a regular visitor.
