A very clean hotel. The room was spacious, well appointed and great for 5 people. Check in was quick, but our room took a long time to get ready. The elevators can get tricky because of the volume of guests, although there are 4 and monitored by a staff. We would go back there because the location was very convenient to the Falls. Parking was additional at the hotel.

We were really looking forward to this stay…
The good… the staff was polite and friendly. The check in was a breeze.
We have been to this hotel multiple times and always enjoyed our stay. However, this is the first time since Covid.
Now the bad… Within 5 minutes of check in we noticed a number of things. There was hair and garbage on the floor. The tub was clogged with wads of hair and the shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. I figured stuff happens and sometimes things get missed. I cleaned up the bit of garbage and when I went to wash my hands I found silverfish running down the bathroom counter. There were sinking points in the bed making them uncomfortable. The air was extremely dry. We woke up feeling terrible. We were looking forward to the buffet breakfast. What a change from a few years ago. Now it’s more like a continental breakfast. For four days straight, it was the exact same options. It used to be quite the sight. We decided to go pay for a breakfast at a near by restaurant.
I normally enjoy my stay at a Hilton but unfortunately that was just not the case this time. We were quite disappointed and I don’t believe we will returning to the Embassy.

One of the top five Embassy locations
I'm a sucker for Embassy Suites wherever I go. So when doing my research on my first trip to Niagara Falls, booking here with a full view of the river was never a question.
Considering most properties that I stay at our gigantic, just seemed like a small downgrade. With due cause considering the demand for the view on one half of the hotel. But it felt like a Tokyo apartment. No bath, a dining table for one, and a couch in the size of a walk-in closet with was considered the living room.
All that aside I could lay in bed watching the falls all day, so I have absolutely zero complaints. Just not what I was expecting from my experience with this brand. 10 out of 10 would still book again.

B-
Breakfast terrible, elevator takes forever to come and Internet is on par the worst I have experienced. I would think they want you not to be connected and spend all your money at IHop or Tim Horton’s. People are friendly but showed some miles and the 9th floor lounge is what is called pint sized space with pint sized snacks to go with it. The lobby has no place to sit and the parking off site is too expensive when you have to wait for a shuttle. The view is great and the location is not as prime as the Hilton down the street. Overall, a solid 6.8, passable but wouldn’t write home about the facility. The view is magnificent though.

Everything about the stay is excellent. Though the quality of the free breakfast can be improved.

I don’t know about this hotel in regular season, but never come when christmas. You’ll wait elevator for 30mins, breakfast for 1hr. They said free wifi, but you’ll need to pay if you want to use.

Nice family trip
This hotel has an amazing location right near the falls. Walkable to Clifton hill as well. The hotel is sort of worn and could use some updating. Our room was much smaller than some other embassy suites that I’ve stayed in. The breakfast was advertised as made to order, but was just a buffet. The soap dispenser was up too high for my 11-year old son to reach so that was a problem, especially because he is an average sized child and an older one, so many others would be excluded from reaching the soap dispenser. The bed was not that comfortable.

Hotel itself was great! Problem is the elevator…there is only one for level 10-18. We had to wait over 10 minutes to get down in the morning. Same thing again going back up.

Really poor customer service. There was a dirty q-tip, Breakfast was poor, ended at 9:30a and was obviously packed. The elevator took 30+ mins, and was packed.
