Ideal Toronto Stopover.
stopover in Toronto to visit Niagara Falls. Very nice hotel in a quiet street in the CBD. Handy to Union Station - 5 minute walk to airport express. Good pub and restuarants over the road from hotel. Bed and pillows in the room were very comfortable . Room was very nice and well presented and maintained during our three day stay.

Unimpressed
The Novotel is in great need of a major renovation. Very tired decor. Initial room unsatisfactory, small window therefore room very dark. Asked for room change which we got. Second room much better, light wise but felt a constant vibration when in bed. Would not recommend this hotel.

Disappointed
When you stay at a Novotel you expect something pretty good - unfortunately good ended at front of house. Reception and checkin was good and breakfast was worth the cost - good choices. But that's where it ends. Given that we are talking Novotel, the bed was way too hard (three days and nights of back pain), room was tired and rundown and past time for a refresh, no standard tea or milk, no information brochure on the hotel and you could the neighbors through the wall. Again, we expected more from Novotel. As shame given it is in a good position.

Great location
This hotel was so easy to access from the railway station and the checkin was also easy with a nice room after a long day of travel to rest and get ready to go out for a great dinner.

Exceptional 10.0
Wonderfully located downtown hotel
The hotel was located in a downtown area which made it useful to get to sightseeing places e.g. St Lawerance Market, CN Tower and Union Station all within a few minutes walking distance. There are bars and restaurants opposite the hotel. A minimarket next door selling snacks which is useful. The market which is five minutes away has a number of eating places especially breakfast if you don't want to eat in the hotel. It was a comfortable room although you might have a slight problem with a little noise of construction work taking place next door. That mostly starts at about 7.00 am. Don't let that distract you unless you plan to stay in your room all day. Can't comment on the hotel restaurant as we didn't use it. Room was comfortable but recommend bring your own coffee and tea as choice is limited. There is free wi fi. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love the shower unit in the room! Towels are changed everyday. There is a safe in the room
