Writing this review not as a complaint but as a suggestion for better customer service.
Although the location is good, the customer service and concierge services could have been more user friendly, concierge in particular.
Requested a room with a view and got a room without. Called front-desk to get it changed, and they said they would send someone upstairs. Waited 30 minutes, and then went downstairs to get the keys. They did not provide me the keys to my old room so found myself locked out from the bags. Housekeeping tried helping me by calling the front-desk but she was on hold for 15 ins or so. Went downstairs again, waited in the line to get my old room keys. All this took me an hour and 45 mins to settle in my room. Very frustrating !
During checkout I left my bag with the concierge and when I came back to collect it, the person was speaking with another person having a casual talk. I was trying to get his attention as my Uber ride to the airport was waiting outside. Tried to get this attention again but still he made me wait. He could have told the other person with whom he was having a casual conversation to wait. Finally had to tell him that my Uber is waiting and he said hold on. This was the most frustrating part of my experience here at this Marriott. I am sorry, but the management needs to make the customer service a fit accommodating and friendly if not north-starish. Thank you !
