When checking in there was no room available for us. The staff advises that due to us booking via Expedia they looked after their direct bookings first. We booked a King size bed newly renovated room. We were offered two twin beds. Or.. for $80 a night we could upgrade to a queen bed club level room. What a complete joke. Disgusting service denying the room we booked and trying to upsell at the counter. After 40 min of no room, a non renovated king room became available.. with the note that a wedding was on and the room would Be extremely noisy!?

Old hotel, with a lot of original features. Access difficult at front. Restoration work was a bit disruptive.

Fantastic spot for someone who wishes to shop & walk Calgary CBD. Easy access to buses, tram or by foot for parks, china town, shops, great bars & restaurants. The staff so helpful! I mentioned about lost luggage so staff when checking in so they upgraded us to make our day a better experience. Thank you. It worked.

Very very nice Hotel close to shops, bars and restaurants but late at night there are a lot of homeless and very strange people walking around the streets so watch where you are going alone.
