We loved our recent stay at Hotel Berne Opera. A little off a beaten path, we found the neighborhood to be a nice, relaxing and a quite place after full days exploring Paris. The staff was friendly and very helpful in answering our questions, ensuring our stay was comfortable and the breakfast was a great treat each morning. The location was also great as we could easily walk to several metro or train stations and get anywhere around Paris usually within 30 minutes. Not the fanciest of hotels - but clean, quite, friendly staff made this stay one of my favorites I have had in Europe so far. Would definitely stay there again and hope to do so again.

Great breakfast and staff - especially Maria, concierge. Bathtub too high to step in if you have poor balance. Would stay again!

The hotel is located less than 500 meters away from the Roma metro station. The neighborhood is quiet and safe as the hotel is surrounded by houses and restaurants. There is a mini market very close to the hotel, so you can do a last minute purchase safely.
The hotel is comfortable, the rooms are big compared to the local standard and they always keep all the facilities clean.
The continental breakfast was always fresh and delicious, and next to the breakfast area they have a room for the kids (or you) to play Nintendo Wii and boardgames.
It was an excellent choice for me and my family!

Only issue I had was the 6th floor bathroom shower has a slant if you are tall it makes showering uncomfortable. Other than that hotel and staff are perfect. If you go na blow up bathroom they have windows what open up that circulates the air faster than exhaust fan.

It was in a great location. Some rooms were a little small, but very clean. Beds were the typical French hard. Staff was really helpful.

Hôtel was a bit dated, I could see they were renovating the second floor. Although dated, it was clean. And cleaned daily . The staff were very friendly and helpful to my family even tho we didn’t speak French. Rooms where comfortable for myself and family.

I was really pleased with our choice of Hotel Berne Opera for our first stay in Paris. Although a small hotel, it had everything we needed. The location was great, a minute or so away from the Metro and a short walk to a wide choice of restaurants. The Opera area was a short 15-minute walk with Montmartre Village and Sacre Coeur just 25 minutes walk away. When we arrived to leave our luggage a couple of hours before check in, we were delighted to find our room already ready for us. An accessible, ground floor room, it was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was great and there was even a small games room. We would stay at Hotel Berne Opera again.

Had the standard room, which is probably impacting the review. Very small room, old, not newly renovated, bed was not comfortable, the pillows smelled, and the overall experience was just not nice. The area is superb so can’t complain on that, but will not stay here again. The service is also to be questioned, when we complained about the smelly pillows the woman responded that “no they don’t smell” and was arguing to not exchange them.
