Poor 2.0
Room not serviced!
Avoid this budget hotel at all costs. The hotel lobby smelled constantly of raw sewage so first impressions were poor. The room was adequate albeit small, but we had expected that from reading other reviews. The cleaner knocked on our door at 8am in the morning to service the room. Not wanting to leave the room so early, we waited until she started servicing the adjacent room then put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door handle so she could come and service the room later. We left the room around 12pm to go for a short walk after changing the door handle sign to please service our room. Returning to the hotel at 13:30 the room had not been serviced so we left again at 14:00 informing the reception staff the room can now be serviced. The receptionist noted our room number before we left. When we returned at 21:00 the room had not been touched. I asked the same receptionist who we gave the room number to why this was the case and she rudely told me that all the cleaners had gone home now and we should not have put the do not disturb sign if we wanted the room serviced. We were not offered another room and the issue was not rectified. I asked if she expected us to sleep in dirty sheets and use dirty towels to shower with and we were simply told to get on with it as there was nothing she could do. Eventually after much discussion we were offered some bed sheets to make the bed ourselves! Utterly disgraceful service from this 1 star hotel pretending to be 3 stars.

Would Not Return!
First, I clearly booked a room with two beds...It says it in their descriptions, AND I again added a line asking for two beds. We got a double bed. Second, the staff is really not very friendly, except the young man who checked us in. I’ve travelled all over the world, and most hotels, understanding that people are traveling from all time zones, will at least try to see if your room is ready if you show up early...not here. Only thing we were told, “You may leave your bags, checking is not until 2”...... Even during this same trip, in other hotels across Paris, they try to accommodate you, knowing you are traveling and are either tired or need fleshing up. Not this one. Not even to say. We wish your room was ready but it isn’t. Additionally, on check-out day, noon, they called at 12:08 to say check out is at noon. I informed them we’re almost done getting ready and will be down soon. Within 10 more minutes, they called again threatening to charge extra. Believe me, we were not trying to stay. Aside from proximity to the train, this hotel is not nice or convenient. There is a smell of sewage upon entering, which eventually pervades your room. Also, you must take care not to injure yourself, elbows in particular on the shower plumbing fixtures...the bathroom so SMALL and inconvenient with protruding fixtures that could take out your elbows at any moment. Not to mention no shower door, water all over the place as you shower. Overall, not a pleasant experience.

Very good 8.0
My boyfriend & myself had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. It was a challenge to pick a Hotel because I don't speak French so I had to go with common things that I've seen. The only reason I gave this Hotel a 4 is because it smells of sewer the minute you walk in which is a complete turn off. But, we got in late & on top of it a day late so I just wanted to sleep. The rooms are extremely clean & comfortable. They are small, but, all we really needed was a place to sleep & change clothes. The staff were very helpful & they also speak English. If you plan excursions & your excursions require a printed ticket they will print your tickets for you at the front desk (very helpful) We traveled by Metro the whole stay. It was very easy just knowing which side to catch your Metro on is the tricky part. The Hotel is in the center of everything!!! Eateries, Bars, Markets, Sceneries, Transportation, McDonalds is right across the street for something quick! I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel. Oh!! & another thing.. when using the shower you have to kind of manipulate the shower head or the floor will flood because the shower door doesn't close completely & water can get out. Othereise.. Highly recommended for Tourist!

Location is not an issue in Paris as long as you’re comfortable with the Metro (which is pretty easy)! The rooms are small but average when it comes to hotels in Europe. Clean and updated, so I would stay there again. My only gripe was with the staff when we were on our way out. We had an early flight and made arrangements for a taxi pick-up with the front desk. The next morning we waited and waited and finally the front desk guy admitted he cancelled our ride accidentally and told us to order an Uber. We would have ordered an Uber in the first place, but the night before he said there would be no driver’s at that hour. After a lame apology on his part, in addition to him not even opening the door to help us cart our luggage outside (oh probably because HE HAD NO SHOES ON, awesome) we were running through the airport to catch our flight. Long story short, would probably not stay again because hospitality is a service industry which this hotel missed the mark on.

Deceiving pictures and far from everything
On our first night, after showering, I realized that the shower didn’t close properly. It flooded the entire bathroom and outside the bathroom door, in the time of an eight minute shower! The person said there weren’t any other rooms available. He changed his mind after he saw all the water, and moved us. The manger contacted me the next morning. The rooms are very, very small, so I feel like pictures online are deceiving. The location leaves a lot to be desired, it about a 25 minute subway ride to any of the big attractions. Also, we noticed a lot of people just hanging out and watching people, that didn’t make us feel any safer. Also, the WiFi doesn’t auto connect after you connected to it, you would have to connect every time you come back to the hotel, or whenever it kicked you off randomly. Every time we left or were coming back after a long day, the lobby always smelled terrible, we commented on it a few times. Overall, it was an okay hotel, but I wouldn’t stay again.
