Hossegor – officially called Soorts-Hossegor – is a seaside town in southwestern France that's particularly famous among surfers. Located on the Silver Coast, 25 km north of Biarritz, Hossegor was originally a rather chic seaside resort at the beginning of the 20th century. Since then, it has become more and more popular.

Surfers from all over the world meet on the 6 main surf spots along Hossegor's coast. Even though almost everything revolves around surfing, its surroundings also offer the possibility of beautiful walks or bike rides surrounded by nature – between beaches, lakes and pine forests. As Hossegor is a renowned holiday destination, you'll find a very good choice of hotels, bars and restaurants for all budgets, as well as a golf club and a casino.
