Worth a visit

Had a wonderful stay at Discovery Park. We arrived after hours and park management were very helpful. We stayed in a budget twin. Accomodation was a little dated but clean. Sometimes on the info provided it says double bed but in fact it is a Queen. This time, first time we’ve been caught out, it was in fact a double bed. This didn’t deter us at all. The bed itself though was a little too soft for us as we are used to a harder mattress. This is only a personal preference. Location is exceptional, access to the beach from the park is great. We loved our stay here. Would definitely come back but would choose a cabin with a bigger bed! Thanks Discovery Parks for a great start to a long awaited holiday.

Stayed for 3 nights in a superior cabin, great location, easily accesible to the beach. Unfortunately our cabin was quite outdated and worn out. The bunk bed bases and room surfaces had thick layers of dust. Large areas of mould on window sills and cobwebs on ceiling.

It's a small park and the road etc. is old and worn. The older cabins are exactly that, dated, tired and walls are thin as you could clearly hear the kids next door and people talking clearly as they walked past. The beach access is not direct as it's to the surf club car park. The shared facilities include camp kitchen and eating area, looked excellent with a good choice of vending and hot drinks machine. The location is fantastic, close to everything you need for a good holiday.
