A perfect small central hotel on the Left bank

This is a typical Paris Hotel, old and with a lot of character. It has a very friendly staff and a warm welcome every time we came through the door. We have stayed there a number of times and found the location ideal, with many places within walking distance. Though nearly 80 we did walk a lot and the location was perfect. Like any old building it has old electric points that are nor enough now for charging phones and laptops, but this can be ignored too.

Four stars is a stretch

This hotel is very well located, with adequate space and storage. The bed was comfortable. However, calling it a 4 star hotel is an exaggeration. There was only one available electrical outlet in the bedroom. In order to use the floor lamp, one had to unplug the television in order to get power. Breakfast was nothing better than you would find at a 3 star hotel. A bottle of water was provided for convenience, but only on the first night. A resort fee was charged, perhaps due to the presence of a pool table in the bar? Overall, I cannot say that this hotel was good value for what it charged.

We loved our stay at Villa Pantheon. It was clean, comfortable and convenient to the metro. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast every morning, which included fresh croissants, baguettes, fruit, eggs, meats, cheeses and yogurt. We appreciated that there were many very good restaurants in the area for our dinners. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 3 nights with daughter, walked to the Louvre and local sites, brilliant location and lovely restaurants very close by. Cost £14 for an uber to the Eiffel tower. Lovely room, and very quiet rooms. Would recommend!

4nights in Paris - highly recommend

Great hotel in a perfect location. Our room was large room 405, 2 windows and balconies, comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. Ten at reception was so helpful, he is the reason I gave the hotel a five star (other staff also were great). Restaurants and train stations were close to the hotel, there are 2 laundromats within 300m from hotel and an award winning croissant bakery just down the street/hill ‘La Maison d’Isabelle’ (170m). My only complaint would be the in-room coffee machine, it just did not heat the water to what we are accustomed, but not a deal breaker.

The Hotel has a prime location that is near the central monuments and museums. It is a 20-minute walk to Place de la Concorde or a two-train 15-minute Metro ride. It is quiet and stately, and the staff tries hard to please. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the Paris tourist center that you obtain a true sense of Parisian life. The Bistro just to the east is wonderful for an easy dinner, as is the wine shop across the street for an afternoon glass of wine and fromage. To the south, towards the Pantheon, are many choices, from an elegant Le Coupe-Chou to serval places catering to the Sobron students. We stayed five short nights and wished it to be more.

Excellent location, the staff were so very caring and helpful. We felt so sorry for them as there was an issue with the boiler meaning water was only tepid in rooms. We have been provided with a reimbursement. I always think that things can go wrong, but it is how the problem is dealt with that counts and this was done so with care.
