Amazing stay and wow what incredible staff! The bellmen memorized our names and greeted us by hall name daily. The restaurants were amazing and the hotel was clean. Arrived at the hotel early morning, 8 am, with a room booked from the previous night, after a 14 hour flight. Room was not ready and I was asked to wait an hour to an hour and a half for housekeeping to clean the room. I canceled the entire reservation and walked across the street with my bags to the Four Seasons, where I immediately got a room and was not charged for the prior night. Admittedly, i have frequented the Four Seasons Park Lane and this was an attempt at testing another hotel. I will not be returning to the Intercontinental. Advice for others, don't change your standards as you can only be disappointed if you have expectations.
