"Very cute little guesthouse. Note that it is in the middle of nowhere, so if you want to explore it's not very convenient. Also you are basically bound to the hotel restaurant, which is decent but not fancy. But the rooms and pool area are nice, with an exit onto the beach. Super good value for a getaway when you truly just want to relax :)"

"An excellent choice for the last day and night of a two week trip in Sri Lanka.
Got to the hotel hours before the check in time, and was given a room straight away.
There are multiple restaurants to choose from for dinner. Dinner at Ocean was fab!
Cocktails at the roof top bar were nice. And the afternoon by the pool was chilled.

"The hotel looks opulent on the ground floor. The pool, gym and breakfast are top notch. The food in the Indian restaurant was bland and the room was a bit dirty on check-in, especially the bathroom floor. Rooms are a bit shabby but come with plenty of free water. "

"Strict security just before entering the hotel ... And greeted by an elegent atmosphere at the lobby... Check-in process is smooth, staffs were all friendly and speaks good English... Drinks were also served during check-in... Rooms are overall clean ... Except for some stains on the mattress... Covered with the protector so not much of an issue...
Breakfast were good and have a wide variety of food... Salads, cold cuts, breads and pastries... Western eggs and bacon, asian, local cuisine.... Egg...

"This is a decent hotel but not excellent I would say. Looks old and needs lot of attention to finer aspects of the rooms and building. Location is certainly very good if you have a lake view room. Pool is also good and large. Food is average with very less sitting space as compared to the room accommodation ( I had my B/F standing all the time ). I had to call for proper toilet kits all the time... Over all not very bad but not very good as well... to stay if you get a good price deal. "

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the staff were extremely helpful and very attentive. Tharun helped me alot to arrange my drivers each day also. Excellent friendly hotel and would 100% recomend to anyone looking to stay in Colombo. "

Dino and team could not do enough for us, but it was never over the top - we just felt well hosted by the entire team. Worth every penny to stay in such a secluded space on a beautiful coastline - we saw more cows on the unspoilt beach than people and you get a beautiful western sunset from Reef."
