The Grand Brighton

10/10 Excellent

"Another lovely stay at the Grand Brighton. All of the staff members were friendly, helpful and pleasant. The amenities in the room were lovely, my favourite toiletries, clean, spacious and comfortable. The concierge parking made life very easy, worth paying for. Was able to leave car there after check-out when we went into town. Good selection at breakfast, would have liked tea and coffee to be table service rather than totally self-service. Queues at the coffee machine was irritating, and guests struggled using them, luckily other guests were helpful!"

Kempfield House Hotel

"We were in the basement room, which was nice but some quick fixes could of improved it. Outside the door was some rubbish and maintenance bits. The room due to being basement smelt of damp. Parking is on the road which was a nightmare when we arrived. Had to go into the pub to get keys. Didn’t see any staff, but there were some nice touches, big tv, lots of tea and coffee all be it only one cup, biscuits. Room was relatively clean and had shampoo etc along with cotton wool. Room was large. If they just dealt with the few decor and damp issue would be a 4* and not a 3* which I would have put it as. Would I stay again yeh I would but if for they price we paid £89 was more than worth it."

Maldron Hotel Brighton City Centre

"Went in a heatwave, got there with a migraine Staff were so helpful, arranged a slightly earlier check in. Helpful throughout AC wasn't so strong in room but a fan was given to help It was a hot day. Small gym but functional. Would return Varvara I think the staff member was called, she was extremely helpful. Stored our luggage after check out so we could enjoy the area before we left Thank you for a great stay"

Upper Rock Brighton Guest House

"This is a great little guest house! Proximity to the beach is fantastic, and the room was quaint and clean. They even let us come by a few hours early to leave our bags which was very nice. We were on the top floor though so the room was a little hot as it was around 30 degrees celsius when we were there. However they did provide a fan which was really helpful."

"Clean room. Nice quirky hotel/guest house. Good location. Helpful friendly staff on arrival. No front desk but WhatsApp contact details given. Air conditioning unit very noisy and cannot use without the window open. Good for a stay in the cooler weather out of season but wouldn’t recommend for the weather we are currently having. Ear plugs were supplied by the hotel but I don’t find them comfortable to wear to sleep. I would definitely stay again just not in August."
