Good 6.0
stay BUT!
We had a nice stay at this newish hotel which was quite nice but..... the reception staff lacked training and they had too many people checking in or out people as some staff didn’t know what they were doing. The room was lovely and there is a great pool with excellent service. We also had dinner by the pool which was fantastic. Special shout out to Emma. She was fantastic. Over and above service. The biggest disappointment was my wife left her medication in the fridge ( our fault) but when I called after landing in Melbourne they said someone was cleaning the room and that 3 people ( looked) and couldn’t find it. IMPOSSIBLE, because I know it was there. Don’t use Valet parking as we called down for our car at 6:45am and then came down to check out, which we had to wait ages for and then they hadn’t even organised the car to be brought up. Rest of hotel is great. Reception seriously letting the side down

Very good 8.0
Just a couple of annoying things such as the very poor light above the mirror in the bathroom. Also the kettle was early impossible to plug in anywhere as the cord was too short or shelf too narrow.

Outstanding service from the minute the hotel booking was made. Staff so friendly and helpful. Excellent assistance for my sister with a disability.
