Hidden gem away from the hustle.
Front desk was very welcoming & helpful. Location was great; between Gramercy & Flat Iron, Chelsea is a 3 minute cab ride. Room was very comfortable; king bed and small sitting area. Actually had a view of Lexington Ave and not a building wall. My only negative is, the bathroom was a bit tight. But I’m also a larger man, so bathrooms are normally a bit snug. With that said, the shower had plenty of space

The only thing this place has going for it is the location. Small, dark, dated rooms in dark, cramped hallways. Unfriendly, unsmiling front desk staff. Bare bones. $40 "facilities fee" for who knows what. Paper thin walls so you can hear every word your neighbors are saying. I only stayed here for a medical appointment around the corner.

Fun and funky in a good location
Have stayed here twice. Cool place with a great history and great location at a good price point. Fun style. Some small complaints. Both times I stayed there were issues with the HVAC system, and I either had to move rooms or ask them several times to bring in a space heater. Feels like an old building with a mechanical system that isn’t quite up to snuff. Only person working the front counter ever. Also, while the rooms are lovely and spacious. they are surprisingly skimpy on toiletries - no lotion or face soap or other small amenities in the bathroom, no robes, pretty bare bones.
