I would not say this is a hotel. There was no staff in the lobby or room service. We got locked out at night on the street with 12 other guests when the front door code stopped working. Lockers to store luggage in the lobby were broken. Every guest we spoke with said the internet was not working. Rooms were nice, though.

First of all I arrived to the hotel and had NOT received an access code to the front door (there is no reception desk). Thankfully another couple was coming in and gave me the number to call to get my room number and access code, At 11 pm not a pleasant experience waiting for someone in India to get me a room while standing outside. Then the hotel is right on the subway line so I left like I was in the David Lynch movie “Eraserhead” with all the rumbling. The TV was a techno nightmare and I gave up trying to figure it out. Then worst of all there were NO towels in the bathroom. And no one to call to request towels. I stay in NYC for work a the time and this was by far the worst experience in 20 years.

Nice and clean bedrooms. Kitchen is fully equipped. The only downside is there is no check-in counter. Everything is done online. Be sure to have your check-in information before going and do not come any minute earlier than check-in time which is at 4pm. Your code to access the building will only work after check-in time. And you cannot request for late check out. Other than this the overall experience is great. There is no on site parking spaces but you can find FREE street parking within 300 yards away from the hotel. Or you can pay to park in a garage nearby.

The check in process is very unclear. There is no indication that there will be no staff on site to help you check in. Additionally, when I first checked into my room, towels were littered across the floor and the bed was unmade. Despite getting new room, the bath tub did not drain unless I held up the plug, manually. Eventually, when drained, a weird and gross film and residue remained. The stay truly felt like an elevated dorm room, at best.
