The former Hotel G is now the lyf Bugis. This is now more like a cowork hotel with shared facilities. Also, breakfast buffet is completely different as it was earlier. The check-in + check-out are fast and easy. Good bed, soundproof rooms, good aircon. Affordable, and good location.

Had a great stay at this hotel. The room was small but it didn’t bother me at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is close to the MRT and also walking distance to many places in the city centre. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Singapore!

Great for solo travelers or for two people. The place was conveniently situated near bus and mrt stations. Close to multiple convenient stores. Room had sufficient space. Checking in was very easy and even though we got there a little early we were able to visit the shopping center near it to have some food while we waited which was very nice. The room was clean, had everything we needed, and the mrt entrance was close and very convenient.

Good location - variety of eateries and shopping options a short walk away (Albert Food Centre and Bugis+/Junction). Everything in the hotel was compact - reception, lounge, gym, laundry. The rooms were slightly bigger than I was expecting, we booked a nano king room and had enough space for two suitcases to be opened up (when packing). The bed was pushed up against a wall to maximize space so can be tricky for some. Bed was comfy and bedding was clean. The shower area left little too be desired, it is a toilet/shower combo and yes the entire room gets very wet. The basin is outside of the wet room and very small. The room would be more functional if they had better storage solutions, some of the empty walls could do with racks/shelving. They offer housekeeping every 3 days however they came to clean on day 2 but we had dnd on and then they didn't come the next day (not sure how that works). The lifts were a pain, they were slow and very busy, even though there were 3 in use. Would maybe stay again if price was right.
