Avalon Palace Hotel by GHH
"We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The staff, especially Cleo in reception were warm and friendly and always responsive to guests. Our room on the second floor was quiet and had lovely sunset views over the mountain. Breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and cold choices. We also managed to get into the pool, which was clean but the water was very cold, but with gorgeous views over Zante town. We would definitely return."
Alamis Hotel & Apartments
"We had a lovely stay. The day clerk, Monica is very helpful, and is a wealth of information, and just a lovely person The room was large and very clean, very comfortable. The breakfast is very tasty and has lots of choice. The location is great, no shortage of reataurants close by. We uaed Best Choice cars, their officw is cloae and they delivered to the hotel. Very enjoyable stay."
Olea All Suite Hotel, a Member of Design Hotels
"Very nice room. Young nice staff. Great breakfast. Great location. Really nice zen luxury hotel. Having the swim out room was very useful as we could lay out with easy access to our room. Only complaints: The pillows are ridiculous (bad). The breakfast is great but you are always waiting for coffee. They should have a self serve area. Access to the hotel by car is a puzzle - but all driving in Zakynthos is a puzzle. Best restaurants: L’ete, and Prosilio."
Hotel Contessina
"Everything about our stay was great. The hotel, staff, food, drinks, pools, spa treatments. I couldn’t fault anything"
Zante Maris Suites - Adults Only
"The service, views, and breakfast were the best I’ve ever experienced. I gave only 4 stars because the interior of our room wasn’t the best."
Selyria Resort - All Inclusive
"Pool was nice our room had a few problems but other than that all good"
Hotel Strada Marina
"The hotel rooms are cleaned every day and are spotless, staff can't do enough to help you in anyway they can. The breakfast was exceptional. Lots of places to eat out for dinner and never experience a bad meal. The only downside side i have is the bar is a bit expensive."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Zakynthos
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Zakynthos is during January, February, and November, when hotel prices are lower. For those looking to explore the island's key historical and cultural landmarks, a stay of at least 6 to 7 days is recommended. This duration allows visitors to enjoy the rich heritage, scenic beaches, and cultural attractions that Zakynthos has to offer, all while being budget-friendly. Additionally, prices for accommodations could drop during these months, making it a great value for money for those travelling on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover accommodation deals in Zakynthos, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could stay informed about flash sales and exclusive last-minute promotions, ensuring you don’t miss out on potential savings. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. If prices drop or new rooms become available, you’re more likely to be among the first to know, making your last-minute booking easier.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could mean you may save on your stay in a Zakynthos hotel. For those seeking something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you secure the best deal possible.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Zakynthos's excellent public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less populated neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often exceptional value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
