The hotel is small. Location is prime in the heart of Rue Cler, near Metros, shops, restaurants, and bars. Perfect for sleep and shower only. No refrigerator in the room. No ice machine except in the lobby but you have to ask for it. The pictures make room appear big but its tiny. Overall, the place is clean and tidy. I'd stay there again but would request room with a window view of Rue Cler in advance but who stays in their room when your in Paris. The staff member stated it requires a minimum of "3" guests and prior notification to get a window view on Rue Cler if interested. The hotel is situated near an ATM machine across the little one way street of Rue Cler. A nice restaurant "Le Petit Cler" next door and a small grocery store for little things like water and drinks. You can't go wrong staying on Rue Cler and that makes this hotel prime.

Poor 2.0
Passport stolen at front desk and they lied.
Long story short. I checked in at 7:30 pm, traveling with my best friend, her nanny and 7 month old. Upon check in I gave the man my passport and credit card. We had a ton of luggage so we sent the nanny and baby up to the room to get settled and my friend and I were going to bring the luggage up. I placed my wallet down on my suitcase which was the last piece to go up as the lift can only take one suitcase at a time and immediately noticed my wallet was gone. In the time we loaded the luggage, the only person who could’ve intercepted was the front desk agent when he brought us the crib. We went upstairs and thouraghly checked everything. The wallet was gone. When we confronted the front desk guy, he kept saying. I remember you had it in your hand. Which I thought was odd as he spoke minimal English upon check in. We insisted on seeing the security footage which he said he doesn’t have access to and that at 9am the manager would be there and could check for me so that I can report it to the police. Sure enough at 9 am the front desk staff has no idea a passport was stolen. Don’t you think if you were an employee you’d be sure to report this!? and not only is the manager out of town but no one has access to the security cameras. At this point I realized what a scam this was and as it was Saturday morning and my fight was that afternoon and the embassy is closed on weekends I was screwed. I read one other reviewer who said they had belongings stolen. Do not stay at this hotel.

Good 6.0
location, location, location
This location exceeded our expectations. we were looking for more of the local feel, with easy access to subways and walking to prime tourist spots. 2 subway stations are a short walk fro the hotel. On the block of the hotel are lots of restaurants, several grocery stores, a bakery, flower shop, butcher, and fresh fish store.. Always very busy street and very safe. Fun to just sit at a cafe having some wine and food and watching the people go by. We are 62 years old and like to walk a lot. Easy walk to Eiffel tower, Louvre. A little more of a walk to Champs Elise, arch de triumph, notre dam, etc; but all doable. We also took the subway a lot and too he RER train (station near by) to go to Versailles. The hotel rooms are a little small, but we looked at that as part of the experience. You adapt. The elevator was a big kick. So small, we had to make several trip with luggage and hold in our guts. Worth a selfie in the elevator. All in all, would recommend Leveque based on location. can't be beat.

Staff was excellent. Have been there 2 years in a row. Had electrical issues both times. This property is close to many of Paris's best attractions. The breakfast is wonderful & area is quite accommodating. I will recommend this property to friends

Very good 8.0
Pleasant stay at the hotel for 5 nites.
Had a pleasant stay at this hotel in a triple room. Room was clean and a good size for 3 people (comparing to my first experience in Paris many years ago). They have a very small lift that fits 2 average size adult (without bags though, so if you have luggage, you go one person with one bag at a time) but I learn from experience when it comes to lifts, size don't matter as long as it works. Love the location, it is on a pretty busy street day time and lively at night. We feel safe walking in and out of the Hotel area. We like the convenience of having stores on the same street for food, fruits or simple snacks ie. water, soda, milk, bread, chips etc. Would be good if they have coffee & tea facilities in the room or at least a kettle. Nevertheless the staff at the reception were always nice whether it is the day or night who helped us with our request for hot water anytime. Mickael at reception was very helpful when we arrived on the first night. Check-in & check-out process was a breeze. Overall a very good experience and will not hesitate to stay here again. We will recommend to family and friends to stay here too.
