Great location, clean, but property is run down. "Balcony", really more of a hallway door, opens with everyone else's balcony so no privacy. There is no air conditioning so you have to open the balcony door if you want fresh air. Neighbors were loud , (not the property 's fault) and smoked, so you heard and smelt everything.

Stay was fine. Room was fine, just a bit tired looking. Bedsheets were nice and crisp. It was very dark inside the room, and felt like we had to draw curtains if inside the room as we were located at the top of the stairwell - where everyone would naturally look in. Would suggest placing a tint on the window. I guess for tekapo this hotel was appropriately priced compared to competitors. Thanks
