Lovely friendly Hotel

The Sapa Horizon Hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the “city in the clouds” in northern Vietnam. This cozy and well-run hotel offers delicious, plentiful breakfasts and stunning views from corner balcony rooms overlooking the mountains and rooftops. The staff are friendly, with Manager David going beyond to assist with transportation and travel plans. The hotel’s convenient location makes it easy to explore the area’s attractions, such as trekking routes,, hill tribe villages, and the glass bridge. I stayed four nights and could have easily stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Quiet hotel away from main street but...

Staff were friendly and helpful, but during our stay, there was construction next door which was disturbing sleep as early as 7:30-8:00 am and sporadically throughout the day. Not ideal if we wanted to relax in the middle of the day or before dinner. Unless you're planning to stay out all day and only come back during the evening, the construction can be hear especially throughout the higher floors. Otherwise, hotel was fine.

Great hotel in Sapa town

The hotel is situated very conveniently in Sapa town but being on a side road means it's not noisy. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and gave us lots of good advice re the local attractions. I had a premier class room which was beautifully furnished with lots of soft lighting so was very relaxing.

This is a lovely hotel located close to everything you need in Sa Pa. The rooms are bright (mountain view rooms are amazing), clean and spacious. The breakfast is plentiful and lots of a la carte items to choose as well. David and his team are wonderful and welcoming and helped to arrange a trekking guide. A perfect stay in Sa Pa!

Great Location, hidden in a quiet corner just beside the church. A short 2 minutes walk and you are right smack in the middle. Front Desk Manager and Bellboy were two exceptional people who made the trip alot better. I believe the hotel will have a great view if it isnt so foggy

Lovely hotel in Sa Pa.

Couldn’t fault the staff and service received here. Above and beyond the usual pleasantries, they are so keen to ensure your stay is perfect. The bed was so comfy and room clean and pleasant. The only disappointment was the weather which meant we couldn’t see the wonderful view from our room! Not the fault of the hotel at all though.

I loved Sapa & the Sapa Horizon Hotel!

I was an older woman traveling alone to Sapa & the front desk was MOST helpful! They spoke excellent English, helped with a same-day village tour especially tailored for me -- at 76 yrs old, I didn't want to do a lot of trekking. My local Hmong tour guide spoke great English & took me thru her village. The front desk helped with Frangipan Mt'n tkts also. My room was as shown in the picture.

Fantastic stay

This is a fantastic hotel. David-owner and his team makes his guest so comfortable in our 3 nights stay, no hidden agenda. Unlike our earlier hotel stay in Hanoi old quarter, when we did not take up their local tour, the hospitality changed. David provide good suggestions on what we should do or not.. this is really useful as we have short stay, understanding our needs and propose and shortlist for us are really helpful! Breakfast is fantastic with good spread and adhoc menu like pho, eggs and pancakes., all are made with care and they are really tasty! Strongly recommend to stay in this hotel.

Heartwarming Service

We experienced a very decent stay in Sapa Horizon Hotel. Room was spacious. The Fansipan mountain view from the balcony was stunning. The bathroom was equipped with a heater which was a great surprise in the cold weather. We travelled to Sapa by overnight train. The check in time was 1:00pm. This lovely hotel offered a shower room for us at 7:00a.m when we arrived Sapa on the first day and they did the same when we left Sapa in the evening. This was absolutely a very heartwarming arrangement as we could not take a shower on the overnight train.

Had an issue where my overnight bus ride from Ha Long Bay to Sapa ended up having me arrive to Sapa at around 4am (where check-in was at 1pm). When arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by a very friendly fellow (Pham Anh Nam). Needless to say he was extremely helpful and was able to help me check-in to my room (mountain view). Even at that time early in the morning, he was as ever vibrant and most hospitable! My stay there has been great, and even the buffet break is impressive. Next trip to Sapa, I would have no second thoughts but to go to Sapa Horizon again. Thank you so much Pham Anh Nam!!
