Lovely B&B close to the water. Good sized room and bathroom with shower. Delicious full breakfast. Very friendly hosts, Paul and Lee, who gave advice on where to eat within walking distance and where to visit in the area. They intend to update the property, but we found it to be very satisfactory as it is. Plenty of street parking.

Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Whitley Bay. For those in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we will suggest alternative dates that may be more affordable, helping you to potentially secure a better deal.
Consider your location: Opting to stay nearer to key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often comes at a premium. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, allowing you to strike a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located further afield, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
