Lovely stay but a room in the front is far too noi
The room was nice, the breakfast ok and the staff were very good. Unfortunately, couldn't get to sleep because of the music from across the street.

Nice but noisy
Nice hotel but single glazed windows and a noisy street made for a poor nights sleep.

Great location in Newcastle
The Royal Station Hotel is in an excellent location. The service was great. We required an extension cord and one was brought to us. The only reason for the lower mark for cleanliness is due to a musty/moldy Oder in our room. Otherwise everything was clean and comfortable and the food was very good.

Very small room, poor engagement of reception staff to change, no recognition of gold member status of Hotels.com. Overall quite disappointing

Great location
The hotel location is fantastic, around 100 metres from Newcastle Central Station and right in the city centre. Staff very friendly and the room was clean and tidy. I found thye bed a little uncomfortable as it has a sprung mattress where I am used to memory foam but it wasn't really an issue. I think the only problem I found was that to use the kettle, the only place you could plug it in was next to the window which I thought to be a little non-senticle. Overall though, its a nice hotel, friendly staff, clean and tidy and right in the centre of the city.
