Not worth a second visit
Booked a last minute trip through for 4 people, 2 children at 2 adults and paid extra for breakfast. We chose a room that stated it could accommodate our family. The room allocated had one king size bed and they could not offer any further bedding for the children. Alternatively we could have a room with two single beds! The room also smelled strongly of cigarettes even though we were on a non smoking floor. We complained 3 times and had to request to change room. We were only allocated one key card and had to request another the following day. We were also only given 2 towels and were told we were not allowed more even though I explained there were 4 of us in a room. I had to remind them that they had 4 passports on file and clearly there would be a major health and safety breach if there was a fire and they only had 2 people staying in our room, not 4. They still didn't allocate more towels. No apology either. Breakfast consisted of redeeming vouchers at the Starbucks in the hotel lobby. There was no real management to speak to and we were unimpressed with the hotel and facilities. The location however was excellent

Terrible-not coming back even with free upgrade
a. Upon check-in at 2.45pm, was told that no rooms were available. I thought this was strange as housekeeping should have rooms cleaned by that time. When I pointed this out to the staff, the supervisor interjected and suddenly mentioned that there was now a room now available. The reasons why the room was made available after only my mention, is a mystery to me but do reflect some poor handling and / or miscommunication within the staff. b. My Deluxe room given faced the left of Bukit Bintang Lot 10 and was extremely noisy. Loud music and human traffic could be heard until 2am. And afterthat, because my room was facing the Hotel's main airconditiong generators and vents, it was so loud that I had to resort to wearing ear plugs ! c. During my stay, I passed by the front desk close to about 10 times. From my observations, about 80% of the time, it was staffed by only one person. And that staff had to handle inquiries, check-in and check-outs all at the same time. In fact, there are more porters and security staff than the front desk staff. This makes it a terribly slow and inefficient service. d. The only saving grace is that this hotel is ideally located but that is certainly not good enough. For the price paid, one can stay at a much more comfortable and welcoming professionally run hotel (small note; the welcome drink is non existent as they are so understaffed). Note: I have hightlighted this issues with the hotel and emails with the GM.

KL family visit
Location is superb. Smack in the midst of Bukit Bintang, with Lot 10,Pavilion, Star Gallery etc all within walking distance. Did not get the breakfast as I believed food options are not a problem with so many food courts,cafes and restaurants near us. Service in general is at the most so-so,not particularly enthusiastic and kinda lack luster. Other than the location and spaciousness of the room I honestly don't have much to say about the hotel. Think will try other hotels next time I'm in KL.

The photos shown on their website were exaggerated (usual Real Estate sales style. The room (Superior) was TINY. Basically it was a studio room, with everything in your bedroom (wash basin on the main bench!!??). You had to lean over the bench to see your face when having a shave! Mattress was ROCK hard. You are allowed to make ONE coffee each per day. Drawer space was good. Suitcase space was poor (stumble over it on the floor). No compendium of facilities, what the hotel had to offer its guests, no instructions for anything (TV, Phone, Air Con). No indication of where to have breakfast (in the hotel) - figure it all out for yourself. NOTHING. Less than quarter of a roll of toilet paper left and no replacement in sight (had to ask for a replacement). The door key failed twice. Fixed no worries, but meh. The staff were friendly enough, but showed no passion or caring. The place had no SOUL. the staff had no interest in you as a guest. You could walk in and out of the place and no one cared. Staff just hung around and said hi. Shame - the place was just a joint to put your head down and do your own thing. I'd pay double and stay across the road at the Grand Millenium any day. We thought we would give it a try, but it didn't cut the mustard.

The room is very large and secure and at first glance looks clean. But some things need replacing such as one of the curtains has a big black stain on it, the couch is stained all over and either needs a steam or replacement. The location however is great and the staff are very helpful. But one morning room service woke me up, so remember to turn on the do not disturb switch the night before.
