NEVER AGAIN... Let's start with the check in process.
Check in was supposed to be after 3pm, following an email update (that never came) but promised to arrive prior to check in.
Upon arrival, we were informed that our rooms for a FAMILY VACATION were in opposite parts of the property, and simply nothing would be done to offer us rooms even remotely close to each other.
Front desk girl was sweet and helpful, but inexperienced and unauthorized to really do much.
Unit owner was dismissive and unsympathetic to our issues and simply told the front desk girl we could cancel the reservation and leave if we didn't like it. Emails for check in finally arrived at 4:20 pm - once we were already in the rooms.
- Rooms were NOT the ones we rented based on the pictures - not even close. Total bait and switch.
- Noise level was intolerable... LOUD DJ & karaoke all night both nights until after midnight in restaurant are - about 200ft from our room door. Even with a/c running and everything closed, room vibrated from the music - impossible to sleep! Asked them to please lower the music twice - didn't do it or even care (BTW, there were all of 4 people either night at their "music night")
- Front desk was unresponsive all night, and emergency phone number provided was disconnected. Did get a text back until today.
- Killed 4 large roaches in the room. Disgusting.
- Several things in the room were broken, t.p. roll holder, front door (busted out around doorknob & lock), cabinets, etc.
