Exceeded expectations
Extremely helpful and outgoing staff. Nicely renovated small hotel with excellent location and immaculately clean rooms. The welcome gift of wine, fruit and chocolate was a nice touch

Fair 4.0
Really tiny room (number 1) and everything would be fine besides the size of the bathroom. You bang your forehead on the sink when you sit down on the toilet, because of 10 inches of space between one and the other! No hooks to hang the towels. One gel to wash it all on top. However, they do give kit kats and nice chocolate cookies. Oh and no air con!

Exceptional 10.0
perfect night sleep and in central Amsterdam
Great location, able to walk into the city centre to all the main attractions and to lovely restaurants. Rooms are cosy, but perfect if you are just wanting somewhere in central Amsterdam and to rest your head to get a great nights sleep. Very comfy beds and soft sheets. The staff were very helpful and let us keep our bags safely with them before and after checkout. Slight issue with keeping the air con on, it kept turning it self off which made the room a little uncomfortable and hot at times, we visited in mid July though. Would happily recommend.

Poor 2.0
Never stop here. NEVER !
No air conditioning in the room. No working air movement in the bathroom. The hotel is on a main road which is loud, we booked this hotel a little way out of town so it would be quite. It wasn’t, the traffic didn’t calm down it 2 in the morning and was back in full flow just before 6am. With no air con, we had to have the window open sooo no sleep...we had the benefit of being in the basement room (2) with the only window being at floor height of the path next to the road. I loved the smell of piss, garbage and car fumes...oh and as we didn’t sleep on the night we thought we would catch up in between meetings in the day, which didn’t happen as the hotel had workmen remodelling in the day. So it was literally a building site. A complete nightmare which effect the entire trip. I will never stop here again. this review is not all, the bath wasn’t finished, there was a power cut, no reception staff, we had to climb over work men, the list goes on.
