After spending 5 nights at the Mercure Icon and exploring Singapore quite extensively, the reviews on location were met. A lot of options via walking or a quick few stops on the MRT which was effortless.

A perfect accommodation in China Town
The hotel is located in the heart of China Town. It is in a perfect location to explore all the interest places e.g. in China Town and in Marina Bay. The restaurants and food markets are reachable in few minutes walking. The stuff was extremely polite and helpfull. The room was small, but very clean and with a nice view. Everything working fine! The filtered water in the room is handy. The pool area is nice too. I enjoyed my staying - 4 nights! I would absolutely recommend to stay here.

Huge new hotel
Huge hotel in a great part of Singapore. Rooms were on the small side, but we were only in the room to sleep. Very clean, efficient and busy. Gave it a 4 star as the hot water system failed one morning, other than that, we would definitely stay there again.

Overall a good hotel. It’s fairly new. Bathroom setup is not very convenient. Breakfast arrangement is poor. The space is way too small for the size of the hotel and the personnel couldn’t keep up with the number of guests lining up. It was not a pleasant experience every morning to have breakfast.
