Lovely little spot. In a calm part of town but super close to everything you’d need. Would throughly reccomend for anyone who has onward travel from Victoria station or would like to be centrally based in London. No AC but the hotel provided a fan and that was totally fine for me - I was there during 30 degree weather and slept fine.

Excellent location near public transport but in a quiet area with lots of local restaurants and cafes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast but as so many food options around we didnt feel the need to have it every morning. First, the good. Breakfast was well made and we'll staffed. Location was easy enough to find. But...the room was TINY and poorly laid out. I realize it is an older building, but the room we were given had no business being a "triple" let alone a "classy triple." One tiny towel hook and very limited shelving in the (again) tiny bathroom. If euphemistic words like cozy and quaint appeal to you and perhaps this is your spot. Everyone else might be better served elsewhere.

The hotel is old. It has a musty odor especially in the afternoon when it’s too hot. No AC but provided with two fans. The sheets were clean and smelled clean. Towels were rough. No facecloths provided. Hotel staff were friendly. Locked out of our room and received thru email our receipt the day before checkout. Overall, three stars only because it’s not worth the amount we paid for.

We only had a night at this property and it served us well for that but I don’t think we would stay for any longer. When we arrived we were told we were in a different building and given rough directions to get to it from where we checked in, failed to mention it was covered in scaffolding so we couldn’t see the name of it and wandered round trying to find it. We were in the basement next to another room where we could hear absolutely everything so didn’t feel very private and the bed was really hard so sleeping was difficult. There were also windows in there that had no blinds or curtains on so when the sun was up, so were we. The positive parts of the stay were that the room was clean and it was close to Victoria palace theatre where we were going. They were also kind enough to hold our bags after checkout so we didn’t have to carry them round with us. It was in a nice area and we felt safe walking to and from the property.
