Hotel is overrated and does not meet expectations on any category. Will not return or recommend. Stains on carpet, towels , linens need replacing, service marginal at best except for staff at breakfast who were good.

The hotel is beautiful and service is great! The bed could be more comfortable. It seemed as though the mattress is a bit old and there was a big stain on the carpet.

Lovely location. Bathroom sink had an issue for entire stay and was not addressed even after repeated requests. Took four requests to get a hair dryer that worked...finally got help from housekeeping staff as front desk requests went nowhere. Breakfast was included in room charge but was charged for one. Front desk could not address, recommended I email manager, which I did and I still have had NO response from them.

Booked last minute for a theatre trip. Friendly welcoming staff, rooms comfortable, clean and spacious. Large choice for breakfast and drink making facilities available in the room. Quiet area, a little bit tucked away but within easy reach from the V&A, Natural History Museum & Harrods. A hidden gem.

So so, not awful.
We came for a couples visit. Rooms weren’t ready when we arrived, so they were going to give us a call to let us know when it would be available but they never did, so when we went back at check in they gave us twin beds and not a king room which is what we signed up for. They did fix it. The hotel was average at best. Nothing fancy, the staff was friendly, the area was ok. They do need some direction with their art arrangement on the lobby table.
