Bygone era charm with Candian friendly service.

Digby pines has an air of a bygone era. The hotel decor is very dated but in a way that kind of added to its charm. The main selling point is the staff. Incredible service. We particularly liked Allan who was very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the pool and the grounds are pretty. If you are into vintage shower fittings and taps, you are in for a treat.

A beautiful historic Resort

Our front desk receptionists Jane and Margret and also our shuttle driver Rexon , who picked us up at the Fundy Rose Ferry and back again were all exceptional with their hospitality ! Their services were above and beyond our expectations ! We celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary and we guaranty we will be back again !

Enjoyed one night

We enjoyed our stay. Arrived early so we could try and get in an unplanned round of golf. Very happy the front desk staff accommodated (with an upgrade). The breakfast was included with a summer rate and was amazing!! The elevator was out of order during our stay. We were fine to walk the stairs but dragging out bags up and down was difficult. We used the pool and it was quite nice. The area was lovely.

Warning elevators broken

Broken elevator combined with mobility restrictions was a real challenge. Staff were excellent. FIX THAT ELEVATOR IMMEDIATELY.

Treating Ourselves to one of NS's Best Resorts

Pleasant stay with attentive and engaging staff ensuring that all our needs were met. Dining was superb, and the room, while cozy, was well appointed and comfortable.

Would stay again but priority needs some TLC

Gorgeous view of the area and staff is very hospitable. The food was amazing and the property had lots to do for everyone. The scenery was beautiful. Cottage is in need of some repairs and updates. Dated decor and some malfunctioning lights and things. Accessibility is an issue as there were stairs to everything and the elevator was down in the main building. Would stay again but things need some attention.

A bit let d

It was not what we expected for the price we paid. It’s an older establishment. The elevator was not working during our 3 days stay. Toilet in our room did not work well and husband had to fix it on our second day (staff were told about it and reminded upon our leaving) Breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly each morning, pool clean and nice, spa availability was good. Overall, this hotel needs to be updated to modern standards.
Lise, 3-night trip

Hotel needs upgrading. The elevator was not functioning while we were there which was not great for us as we have mobility issues and stairs are not easy . We were not notified if this before our stay so that we could modify our plans.

Bucket list stay 😄

It was a bucket list stay for me. I have always wanted to stay and finally got my chance although the room was very small it served it's purpose. Shower was good and hot water pressure was okay. Bed was comfortable small just a twin bed not used to that. Lol. Pillows were so comfy and fluffy. Staff were all super friendly. I did enjoy my stay. I wish I had got to use the pool. Breakfast was good lots of options.. coffee was good, and room coffee was excellent. Loved walking around seeing the hotel itself. Took lots of pictures.

This property has so much potential. It is a historical hotel that needs a lot of work. The food and service the dining room are top notch. The front desk staff was very unfriendly when we checked in….front desk staff included a clerk and the finance manager. The HR manager and F and B manager were meeting in the lobby and they were very helpful and friendly. The HR manager even carried our bags up the stairs! Room service was great.
1-night trip

6/10 Good

We booked a standard king room. The room was very small. The bed took up most of the room but it was comfortable. Unfortunately our room had a bad odour that lingered even after I asked to have the room sprayed with a deodorizer. We couldn’t move to another room because they were full. The complimentary buffet breakfast was very good. Overall it’s a okay place to stay overnight.

The main resort was cozy and quaint. Grounds were beautiful, room was clean and very spacious. Being able to relax in the lounge area after dinner was so nice, cozy seating, large fireplace, bar area etc. Highly recommend staying here. Hospitality from the front desk to the staff in the restaurant were above average. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! TY 😉Vicki and Wendi
