Thistle Hyde Park is a great hotel for the traveller that is seeking a little quiet within the wonderful city centre. With access to transit - the tube is incredibly close, along with amazing restaurants and pubs, Thistle Hyde Park is the place to be. Kensington Palace is only steps away through Hyde Park. Great location, great rooms.

8/10 Very good

The location is perfect, and this was my third stay, so it clearly has its appeal. The staff were very helpful, and when the window in our first room wouldn’t close, we were promptly given another room. On our last night, the air conditioning didn’t work properly, so the hotel kindly offered us complimentary breakfast as a gesture of goodwill. The rooms are a little dated and could do with some updating. Overall, a great location and helpful staff, but with prices this high, I would expect a better standard of accommodation.

Staff where super friendly in all areas of the hotel: front desk, bar, breakfast. The rooms where very clean and beds super comfortable. Great selection of food for breakfast. Location was perfect for our trip as access to bus and underground right outside.

We love the location of the Thistle on Bayswater Road. They have triple paned the windows to keep the traffic noise down. The beds were okay, towels large and fluffy. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good, particularly the scrambled eggs.

I stayed 6 nights and was very pleased with the hotel accommodations. Breakfast was great and had everything I needed. Would stay again.

4/10 Fair

The staff was really helpful and great. But a few things were very off for me. There were absolutely no toilet amenities just a hair dryer nothing else. Secondly as a 4 star hotel I expected that the rooms would have basic water at least but it wasn’t provided. All over the world I have traveled even 3 star hotels provide water now free. I talked to the staff but they said please buy it we don’t give for free. The hotel was relatively upgraded. But it is just basic to a room as there is no gym or anything else. But the front desk was 24 hours which was a plus.

Fantastic staff. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast and coffee. Love that there is a bus stop right outside and a little Waitrose beside it. Hyde Park across the road. Nothing to dislike 😁

Stayed at the same hotel a week earlier and the staff on duty were very helpful, but they were not as helpful on this occasion. Have stayed here a few times when travelling due to the convenience and location of what I need.
