Never to hire Novotel SUITS in paris
First of all I would not suggest this hotel to any one. The staff is totally non cooperative a d tricky. Me, my wife and 2 kids 7/9 years went for 3 nights. Although the pictures seems good. They changed our room twice due to 1.AIRCONDITION NOT WORKING 2. FRIDGE AND BATH TUB WAS BLOCKED. Location is pathetic and very smelly due to poor immigrants living in tents and using washroom facilities on footpaths. Hotel windows blinds are broken. Fridge doesn't work. No staff will guide you correctly even iron room if standing on next to it. Staff was so rude at reception. When we entered the safe was locked, to get it open we had to wait 2 hours due to manager forgot machine at home. There is nothing except spoiling your trip and time. Although its mentioned 4 star but in which manner ...this what the Managemnt a d Managent to think. Although we had one incident in our family when we reached Paris but even the Management of was so polite but hotel staff were non cooperative. I would not recommend NOVOTEL SUITS TO ANY ONE. It's better to have 2 star or less but with other chains or Hotels. It's guide lines for families and educated people.

NOT family friendly in a very BAD area
This hotel is a scary place to stay. Only 4 miles from the center of Paris it sits in a dangerous neighborhood. Near the hotel are groups of homeless men that live in the streets, tents, between construction products, and sleeping bags. During our stay the weather was very nice. Every day the group of homeless grew and grew. The streets are gross. My daughter said "This place smells like an outhouse that humans and animals use". The sidewalks were covered in garbage, food, clothing, and human waste. Most of the time the groups of homeless men ignored the tourist walking by, but we were confronted a few times. The hotel doesn't allow them inside the building. To do this they lock the doors and you have to be buzzed in. So, if the staff are not at the desk watching and don't hear the buzzer you can be locked out. You can not use a key card to get in. You must use your key card to access the elevators. And the breakfast sucked. Don't waste your money on it. The room was clean. The temperature control was a joke. We could not cool down the room leaving the window as the only option. However, when the window was open the sound from the freeway was so loud you could hardly sleep. While the hotel uses "fair trade" products for soap, they have only a squeeze bottle that has hair, face, and body soap in it. On the first night the bottle in the shower ran out of soap, even though I set the empty bottle on the counter top for the staff to see we needed more it was not replaced

If only it were somewhere else...
This was my first time to France and, unfortunately, I wasn't aware that this area is not considered Paris...especially, since it brands itself as Paris Nord. When I told locals where I was staying, they were puzzled as to why I chose to stay there. I didn't fault them. Literally right across the street from the hotel is a camp of homeless people in tons of tents, which presumably causes this awful aroma. Make a right turn after reaching the main streets outside of the hotel and you're overlooking a depressing shantytown of refugees. Novotel usually has a pretty impeccable record for their properties, so I'm not sure why they invested in this property. As simple as it may sound, this really jaded my view of both them and France. I'm the event I do decide to give it another shot, I'm staying far away from here.

Good size room & clean but i wouldn't recommend it
The hotel had 4* rating when i searched and booked a room in it for my Paris Holiday. The room itself wasnt a disappointment - it was clean and reasonably spaced. But there are lots of down sides to this a) Hotel staff by and large very unfriendly and unhelpful (although one was ok) b) the central air conditioning did not work and even when reported it was not fixed c) The hotel itself is situated to the North and west of the main attractions in the city so commute into would generally add some travel time to your day (although the paris metro is pretty handy) d) This may be out of control of the hotel staff at the moment but there is a large hoard of rough sleepers outside the hotel who made us feel extremely unsafe as we walked to and from the hotel to the Metro station.

One and done
I stayed at this hotel once but I wouldn't stay there again... The hotel itself was okay but there is a refugee camp nearby. Many people are living on the street right in front of the hotel and around it. I didn't feel comfortable to walk outside alone. The men from the camp could also be seen sleeping on mattresses or washing their bodies on the sidewalk where people had to walk by. This hotel should not be allowed to have a nonrefundable rate. I booked this hotel for a very long stay and I wasn't able to rebook once I saw what was going on around the hotel. To make the best of our trip, my family and I would leave the hotel early and then rush back before dark or take a taxi back to the hotel. I had my ten year old son with me and he was scared of the people sleeping around the hotel. It was not a good situation. .
