Very dated hotel
Mediocre stay. Building in general very old.
Clean. Friendly staff. Arrived much earlier and while noted that when booking could not check in. But of course way before formal check in times.
A/C in room was quite loud. Sensitive sleeper would have trouble with that.

Be mindful of safe keeping of own belongings.
We had our gift package taken from our room the second day of our stay. Package was placed on top of a sofa-bed, so it would never be mistaken as garbage on the floor! The package was returned by house keeping same day when we asked at the front desk. Not a good feeling at all.

Convenient location but service was a bit lacking
Pros:
Super convenient location
Size if the room
We had executive floor so we had the perks of free fruit, lounge, breakfast
Porter brought luggage to our rooms
Concierge/bell boy arranged our taxis
Cons:
Broken shower head. Dropped on me twice whilst taking a shower
They could not replace the AA battery of the clock on my bedside table (requested 2x)
Bought shower cap for $1 but not delivered to my room until I arrived back at midnight
When I dialled Reception on the hotel phone, it was often left unanswered but when I went down to Ground there were 4 available receptionists
Breakfast lacked Asian choices
On the 3rd day the executive lounge was closed, and moved to Ground floor but the usual drinks/snacks were not offered

I'll start with the good things about this hotels. When I got to my suite, there was a platter of fruits. I appreciated that because I love fruits. The suite has a good enough room size. The towels are new. I love the part that there's a filtered water faucet in the bathroom.
I just wish the bathroom was updated. I would have converted the tub into a walk-in shower and move the VERY old toilet to the existing cramped shower stall which is so tiny at 2.5ft x 2.5ft! I always hit my elbows.
This is the only hotel I've stayed in Hong Kong with no bidet. I also wish the suite had a makeup mirror with a magnifying side.
With all the things provided in the suite, body lotion is not one of them. So I left a note (with a HK$20 tip) to the housekeeping asking for it. She replied in my note "Call the front desk." Seriously.
The suite is a corner room on the 21st room. The curtains couldn't completely block the sun so it's bright in the mornings.
I went up to the lounge on the 31st floor to work while my room was being cleaned. I thought the internet would be better. It's not reliable at all. I only have good internet in the living room of the suite. But can't connect in the bedroom.
But my biggest beef of all, the smell of the sheets. They smell old (almost like a dog slept on the bed), seems like the suite has not been occupied for a while. The management should send a representative to every room to check this before sending in the guests. I can still remember the smell. Ugh.

Foster
Initial check-in was poor. I needed to extend my stay by 1 day but reception found it too difficult so had to book another night on-line.
The room assigned smelt strongly of smoke but when I complained they changed it immediately.
Overslept the following morning and missed breakfast but when I mentioned it to the managed (Foster) he arranged to provide a drink and snack immediately in the executive lounge. Very impressed!!!
The shuttle service to the airport was a bonus.

Right in heart of Causeway Bay this hotel has a perfect location. Rooms are big but need updating. Saw they are refurbishing some room in Q3 2024. Good value for money

The best experience is coming from the upgraded room type as my original booked room type was not available. So, the rating may be difference as my experience was gained from the upgraded room type.
