Overall excellent stay with some small issues
Overall, my stay was fabulous. The staffs were very polite and kind. The room and amenities were overall super clean. The facilities were excellent. Here are some points for improvement. - I had a question about one feature in remote control and it took like 3 hours just to answer my questions. This was way too long to wait. The main cause was that the engineer didn't understand my English much and he said he would get back to ask his manager. He went for very long time. I then asked the operator the same question and her answer didn't clear my doubts. After I raised my voice (sorry!) to say that this problem took already more than 2 hours and it's not resolved yet, she finally came with the engineer and another lady. She showed how to use that function and I immediately understood! She should have come to my room instead of sending the engineer! (It's totally understandable that the engineer couldn't speak much English. I'd say that the operator should sense this at first and came to solve this problem by herself) My plan to lay back and drink at the roof top bar for an hour was ruined because of this. I waited until almost 11 pm (when the bar closes), so it ended up that I could enjoy only one drink. - Overall, the room was good but there were some small bugs in some places like in the toilet and around the work desk. They're not big ones but a bit creepy. There is dust in the highest level of the shelf.

Poor 2.0
Totally over priced and very impersonal
Came here with my 5 yr old daughter. Unfortunately I got sick during our stay. I requested a babysitter to take my daughter for a swim in the hotel pool so I could have a rest. They told me no, they were not able to take my daughter out of the room and that was that. Not at all interested in the fact I was sick. When I asked them to get me some over the counter medication they came back mechanically that they don't prescribe medication. After insisting they went and got me the medication but not before they made sure to let me know that courier fee would be $20 (more then the actual medicine). Not one word of empathy or interest regarding me being sick with a 5 year old under my (sick) supervision. A total attitude of 'No, can't do'. Everything is overcharged. I ordered a garden salad for me, french fries and 1 scoop of ice cream for my daughter plus a water and an orange juice which was over $65. A cappuccino at the pool will cost you over $16 and a can of soda $12. I don't mind paying but this is just outrageous. Will never stay here again.

A dream come true. Finally get to stay at The Fullerton Hotel because of my wedding at a restaurant opposite the hotel. Fullerton Hotel went above and beyond despite having a high occupancy rate. Not only did they allow me to check in early for us to get some rest before getting our make up done. Not only that, I am thankful that Fullerton Hotel even provide us a short limo ride to the restaurant for us to get to our solemnisation as I sprained my ankle and was experiencing great difficulty walking to the restaurant even though it was a short walk. We stayed for 2 nights and for our last night we were given a complimentary upgrade and granted us a late check out! Something that me and my wife are thankful! Truly The Fullerton Hotel is iconic and filled with history. I never regret booking and staying with The Fullerton Hotel! Their service is exceptional! They truly make you feel welcome. I was made to feel important and distinguished. The hotel is walking distance to the central business district and importantly to Marina Bay Sands and the iconic Merlion. We stayed at the Collyer Suite and we were granted access to the Straits Club. If you are there look out for Paolo. Paolo service is exceptional. We are impress with his service attitude! Even though he is not a local but he has been here for 9 years and he is knowledgeable so feel free to ask him for recommendation because even as a local I am impress with his dining recommendations! Nothing but 6 stars for Fullerton!

Very good 8.0
Great location near Merlion Landmark
There were a few hiccups with the room cleanliness, most especially when checking in for the first time. Found a used condom wrapper in the drawer but management was quick to redo the room for us while we head out for lunch. Good location for stroll walking to Marina Bay Sands and Shoppes, including Suntec City. There's also an MRT station nearby for added convenience and you can rent an e-scooter nearby if you like to experience that. Did not get to try the hotel restaurants because it was fully booked for dinners. Did not get the breakfast option too because I cannot justify eating $50 worth of buffet food but there are many good reviews about it if you're into buffet breakfast. Expensive room service menu though. There's also a sort of open street food near the area which is where I had some of my dinners after walking back from the Shoppes. They're open till late night and you can eat seafood dishes outdoors. Always remember to carry wet or dry tissues with you as they're not provided by food stalls. The room comfort was really good, but there was one night where there was no hot water and it made coming home late uncomfortable with cold showers. One night with a 10 - 15 minutes blackout on our hotel floor too. The bed comfort is really good, but our hotel view was inwards to the lobby, so we couldn't enjoy any good view outside and had the curtains closed all the time for added privacy. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience but enjoyable in some ways.

Great hotel in an excellent location
On arrival we had to wait for our room to be ready as we arrived before 3pm which was when it was scheduled ready, the staff got our room ready two hours early for us, which was great as we had been traveling for quite some time. During our wait we were fortunate enough to see HRH Prince Charles and Price Consort Camila, who were visiting the hotel (this raised my expectations for our stay). Whilst we were in the lobby/reception there was no comfortable seating there as most of the seating was for the restaurants. All of the seating available was formal table and chairs, something that I think needs to be addressed. There are settees etc but they are outside in the gardens which was a little noisy due to the close proximity of the road and was quite hot as there was no fans/or air conditioning. The rest of the hotel facilities were great and the staff extremely helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Another area that could be improved is the outdoor dining, this is due to the wildlife (birds) coming on the tables and picking at plates that were in the process of being cleared away, this could easily be remedied by putting up a thin mesh or net so that diners can eat undisturbed.
