This was a business trip. When I arrived I was told there was no water. I had to go to another hotel. I pre paid for Moxy. I’m still waiting on the reimbursement.

The Moxy was near where we spent Thanksgiving, making it a short drive back and forth. Staff was friendly and accommodating. While the rooms are cozy, they are fine for a brief stay. Security provided both by the hotel and the city made us feel comfortable.

Great Room, But Some Inconveniences During Our Sta
The room itself was great—clean, comfortable, and perfect for a good night’s sleep! However, there were a couple of downsides to our stay. The water was shut off at 8 AM (we were notified in advance), which meant we had to wake up extra early to shower. Additionally, the cook was unavailable, so there were no food options, only free beer. While we appreciated the complimentary drink, having no meal options was inconvenient. Overall, a good stay, but these issues could be improved for a better experience.

This is the third time I’ve stayed here. It seems like it has changed to a party hotel, which is great if you’re young and going out in the city… But very noisy lobby is kind of dirty… First time I stayed here. It was fabulous now it’s seeming to run down which is a bummer

Doesn’t live up to Marriott Standards
Although this hotel is fairly close to Lake Merritt, some good coffee shops, and restaurants-it lacks a lot. Parking is terrible….had to wait more than 20 minutes to get our car. (No valet parking). Coffee in lobby was never hot, they didn’t have creamer. Hallways are dark, hotel is old, not clean. I would definitely look elsewhere.
