Stay was very nice. Only issue was a temp problem with elevator (whcih had no AC) stuck for about 5 mins. I lived in the neighborhood for about 35 years and returned for a visit so location was great for me. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and accomodating.

What a perfect boutique hotel experience. Tucked away in a quaint quet neighborhood, The Normandy Hotel offers the most amazing customer service, comfort and ammenities. A lovely breakfast and a wine and cheese hour in the evening. Upon checking out, they held my bags for the entire rest of the day till my flight time. Just a perfect little hotel.

The Normandy hotel is conveniently located north of DuPont circle. It's a 15 minutes walk from DC Metro. Staff are all friendly and helpful and very nice. They offer complimentary cheese and wine in late afternoon and breakfast for purchase in the morning. I recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting DC.
