Great option right in Montmartre!
We enjoyed our stay at Libertel. Very close to many stores, restaurants, and metro stations. We got a room on the 6th floor with city views and it was beautiful. Really liked the automatic exterior window shutters. Provided complete blackout during the day and muffled the loud noises from some bar late at night. Room is smaller than other hotels but we found it comfortable for us as a couple. Only wish that it would’ve had a smart TV with streaming apps. Highly recommended!

After our first hotel fell through, we found this one and it was wonderful. The staff were kind and friendly and very welcoming. The room itself was a little small ( to be expected in Paris) but perfect for couples. It was clean and quiet and walking distance to the local train station Pigalle and 4 minutes away from Moulin Rouge.

Great hotel in a noisy neighborhood
We had a really good stay there, just be warned that it is very close to all the big party clubs that go on loudly for all hours of the morning. This is an ideal place for people who don’t need much sleep, to stay at for a few nights. After 2 or 3 AM, the clubs begin dumping the glass into the recycle bins and then the recycle trucks and garbage trucks come and collect them. It sounded like banging metal and glass for hours In the mornings around 8, because they go up and down the streets and it echoes all around. I digress. The noise is not a reflection on the hotel. Soundproof windows are quite expensive. Front desk service was fantastic and everybody was really friendly and helpful. Aline at the front desk was always kind and wished us a good day. If you are looking for a place near the Moulin Rouge, you can pretty much go outside and see it from the hotel. The bed was OK, window shades were awesome, they gave us towels whenever we asked. They had water downstairs in the lobby, so you can fill up your water bottles before you leave with eau plate or gazeuse. It is a really good location for catching buses and public transport to major points of interest in Paris, including the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. It is very close to the metro, as well. That’s about 300 m away. The neighborhoods Surrounding the hotel, felt pretty safe, as there were people constantly going up and down the streets at all hours of the night and day. There is also a fantastic noodle place nearby.

Room was spacious with a larger bathroom! Area has metro lines readily available. There was no iron/steamer and the hotel was unable to provide more than 2 big towels for our entire stay (for 2 people for 3 days). It did have AC which was a plus considering there was a heat wave.

Overall the venue was great, bed was comfy and the toilet facilities was kept clean and tidy. However i couldnt give 5 stars for 2 reasons. First is that on the day of arrival i was told that i had to pay city tax, it wasnt much but stoll would of been nice to know before hand. Second thing was that my plugs was not working as i had found out they was turned off via the mains. Which meant i couldn't charge my phone till the morning when spoke to cleaner.

We turned our Altair conditioner o. To have the room cool when we returned and they had turned it off. Had to go to reception area to have it put on in the room again. Elevator broke so we had to carry our bags down from the 5th floor. The most expensive hotel I stayed at and I stayed at several and this one didn’t even offer a cup of coffee.
