6/10 Good

The room I got was not good for the value. It was near the road and not soundproofed. You heard everything. The firm pillow provided were not firm. The spa steam room is only accessible if you book a massage. I stayed at another luxury hotel across the street and that was worth the value. The staff was very nice and so was he hotel tour.

We are in loved with the Santa Clara hotel. Beautiful and amazing staff. Cared for us so well, we have no complains about the hotel in general. And the food was amazing! We were pampered from day one until the last minute we spend in there. So proud of cartageneros and the great job they are doing.

Excellent, exceptional, phenomenal place to stay in Cartagena. Breakfast was very enjoyable, well served. I personally used the spa for steam bath, deep tissue massage, and lymphatic massages with Ilena. That’s what I call a fantastic get a way from the routine

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel! The breakfast was delicious and the service outstanding — every staff member we met was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the pool every day and had an amazing time with the crew who always made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommended!

6/10 Good

The hotel is very well located. To my taste I found it very noisy, on sunday morning at 6:00am a very outloud noice (music) was being played. The first night on friday night noise from outside was heard from the room. The hotel has beautiful patios and a swimming pool, nice spa, very good food. The rooms need a face lift, I find the hotel over rated and over price. The staff was incredible though.

If you are visiting Cartagena, you must stay at the Sofitel Santa Clara. The property itself is visually stunning, packed with fascinating history, and perfectly located. Our room was elegant, exceptionally clean, and featured a beautiful balcony overlooking the historic pool area. The breakfast buffet is hands down the best in Colombia, offering a massive spread of fresh tropical fruits, local pastries, and flawless service. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff—the butler and concierge teams went completely above and beyond to curate local itineraries and handle every request with grace. Highest recommendation! Pedro in the reception area, Luis Carlos at the Restaurant went above and beyond and everybody at the hotel made our stay so perfect, we always like to comeback to Santa Clara every time we go to Cartagena!!
