Good 6.0
The room is super tiny. I had 2 pieces of luggage and no floor space to put them. They didn’t even have that foldable bench to put your luggage on there. I had to put both of my luggage’s on top of the desk, meaning I could not use the desk. Also there is a long mirror but the bed pretty much touches it. So it made it difficult for me to do my makeup whilst sitting. And I couldn’t do it in the bathroom cuz the mirror is a bit higher up and I had no where to put my makeup. Also the bathroom size is about 60cm by 70cm if not even smaller than that. Lucky for me my friend only had a backup had she have had 2 pieces of luggage we would have had no space for hers.

Fine if the Price is Right
I booked this last minute after extending a business trip and went for the cheapest 4+ star hotel in the neighborhood. It's great if you're just looking for a bed around Marble Arch and the price is low, but otherwise there are better options, particularly if you're on business. It really felt more like a 3 star hotel, other than the staff. Pros: * Location. Not far from Paddington Station/Heathrow Express and close to tourist spots and shopping. * Staff. The staff was wonderful - friendly, polite and helpful. * Bed. The bed was comfortable. Cons: * Size. The room was tiny and cramped (I had a single and should have read the reviews more carefully). * Not a business hotel. The "desk" was a tiny fold-out table which barely fit a laptop, so not really suitable for doing work. I did mine on the bed. * Elevator. There's a single, very small elevator, so be prepared to be patient and make friends. * Condition. This doesn't bother me much, but if it does for you, note that the room was in definite need of a renovation. * Toiletries. This also doesn't really bother me, but the first time I've stayed at a hotel of this level where the toiletries are in bottles bolted to the walls. Not a big deal, but makes it feel cheaper. * Finding it. The hotel is off a side street, labeled Sussex, not Radisson, and there's construction in front. I walked past it twice before figuring out that's where I was staying.

Very good 8.0
Thought for Mayfair/marble arch area this place was really good value and overachieved in customer service. Beatriz and the front desk team went all out to help us with every detail of our stay. Only downside of the property is that it has only one elevator shared by patrons and staff alike. I found this frustrating but otherwise I thought the hotel packed a lot of amenities into a clean room. Not a huge room but an efficiently arranged one by London standards. Location for us was amazing being so close to Oxford but yet in a quiet nook. Would definitely repeat after having stayed in more than a dozen hotels in that area, and thinking this one is the best in class for that price range by far.

Not as it should be.
I have stayed here many times through a lot of staff changes. Its usually fine and its convenient. Although I did'nt feel some of the staff at Reception was quite up to par this time. This was a business trip and asking if I had a package delivered for me I was told no. Indeed after being very clear it was hand delivered, and checking in the computer it was found. Also it has one elevator which was out for over 24 hours. This was a huge inconvenience, it should have been repaired immediately. Staying on the third floor was not convenient for coming and going to your room. As I said its convenient and a comfortable property, but they need to stay on their game.

Nice hotel with a good location and friendly staff
Staff was always pleasant and anxious to be helpful. The room was quiet and very comfortable. Breakfasts were scrumptious. The elevator which needed to be activated by using the room key often objected - which became a joke among guests and staff alike. My only real complaint was the shock I got upon checking out when I was informed that I had a balance due of ten pounds and change for the one very short local telephone call which I made. I can well afford the extra bucks - but the principle of that kind of a charge for a single local call sure sticks in my craw,
