Right beside Osaka main JR statipn, with good connections to subways, this hotel is really well placed for a holiday or business stay in Osaka. Good-size, well-equipped room with comfortable bed and deep Japanese-style bath (a highlight!). Signage to help locate the hotel could be better, especially as the lobby is on the 9th floor of a building with shopping centre on the lower levels. Great restaurant level on floor below hotel lobby.

Location was very convenient. The hotel is on the 9th floor of a building that also has stores for shopping and also restaurants. Almost felt like I didn’t need to leave the building. It is also very close to the Osaka Station and has a bridge that connects making it easy for transportation. Room was clean and had plenty of space

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hankyu. Check in process was quick and easy, and the hotel has a bag storage system if you arrive early, which was convenient. Wifi was also good. Location was great, as you have the JR Station, Hankyu railway & Metro practically located outside the door. That being said, the only downside was the noise from the trains, bit for me after a little time it fades into white noise.

The hotel is new and locates next to Osaka station. The location is super convenient for shopping. I walked a lot everyday, shopping around the malls beside the hotel. There is a food mall just 1 level below the lobby. I stayed in double-bed room, it is slightly smaller than other hotels I stayed before but good enough to me with its conveniency. The room is clean and quiet. I consider to come back for my next Osaka trip definitely.

Hankyu Respire is indeed a good place to stay. it is so conveniently located that transport, food, shopping are just steps away. Our room on the 34th floor was big enough to stay comfortably and has a good and far city view. The bed and pillows are comfortable. though the 2 pillows were soft, we actually slept very well on them. Like the layout that the toilet, washing basin and shower are all separated. also, the bathtub has a separate showerhead so you don't hv to "climb" into the bathtub to shower. The weather was cold during our stay during the first half of March, but the room is comfortably warm. Would definitely come back to Hankyu Respire. Hope the new Hankyu Grand would be just as good or even better.

Great rooms with closet and Japanese style bathroom. Availability of laundry machines shown on TV channel. Great breakfast buffet. Japanese garden on 9th floor. Very responsive front desk. Great hotel for bad weather - you never need to go outside. Giant quality restaurant food hall on 8th floor. The mall / Yodobashi on floors B1 thru 8 can be accessed by escalator from the lobby, and there is a secret door that directly connects the hotel B1 elevator lobby to the grocery store in the mall, room key unlocks it (and the elevator button for B1). 24 hour Family Mart on the 1st floor of the mall is always accessible from street entrance steps from hotel entrance. Hotel Hankyu Respire in Osaka Umeda is perfectly situated on top of a shopping mall and next to Osaka-Omeda train station. It is modern and very large, and there are many shopping and dining options easily accessible nearby. However, that sums up the positives since as a self declared 4-star hotel the Hankyu Respire does fail pretty much in every other category. Rooms are very small and feel extremely cramped and stuffy. Even the highest category rooms are only fit to spend the night, and while generally functional the room design is like a capsule hotel: no character, held in mostly muted dark colors with no art or any decorations displayed. The service staff - except the excellent housekeepers - are either completely absent or downright unfriendly towards guests. A big shock given the excellent service culture in Japan, but the staff at this hotel clearly seems to not enjoy their jobs. This is also evident at breakfast which offers the blandest tasting food we had in Japan - and it's the same dishes served every day! The focus is clearly all on efficiency and internal process optimisation - with little to no thought or effort spent on guest experience or offering any kind of hospitality. Finally, check-in and check-out is done via terminals, which do take a lot more time than a 'normal' check-in. The tech used is not user friendly, too complicated and redundant. Printing breakfast coupons also takes too long. The hotel is not 4-star, and too expensive for what it is.

我住係高層35樓,景觀好靚,最後一日夾萬不知道為何打不開,通知櫃檯服務很快就有人幫我們處理,整體好滿意,明白這麼近梅田一定多人入住,等升降機時間會比較長少少,但都滿意,下次一定會再入住！

Schönes Standardzimmer (35.Stock) mit Top-Aussicht. Weniger gut hat mir das Frühstück gefallen, das in einem großen Raum stattfindet und wegen der Massen an Gästen laut und kantinenmäßig ist. Am Buffet findet jeder etwas. Die Heißgetränkeauswahl beschränkte sich auf vorgebrühten Schwarztee und Kaffee. Mir fehlte heißes Wasser für eigene Teewahl.

One of the better hotels we stayed at! Check-in was fast, automated by a machine (or you can opt for a team member to help you with this) and seamless. Staff are incredibly polite and fluent in several languages including English and Japanese. Due to the volume of Korean and Chinese speaking guests here, it would be safe to assume that they can accommodate for other languages also. The room cleanliness was perfect, service was timely and done well, and amenities are plentiful here- they even have dedicated smoking rooms & microwaves, coin laundry, self service free tea / coffee inside the hotel. Staff can hold & weigh luggage for you at no cost. The room we picked was one of the higher floor option double room. It had a traditional Japanese wetroom style bathroom which was great. The insulation from sound outside was great also. The hotel offers a continental style breakfast for those who want to miss the chance for brunch at 喫茶店 , it was disappointing, I would not waste my money on it again considering there are much better options at less than half the price outside. This hotel operates inside a larger building, where you first catch a lift from the 1st or 2nd floor, go up to the hotel, and must then catch another elevator to your room. This is something to note if you have accessibility requirements. The hotel is incredibly close to Umeda Station to connections to Shin-Osaka, Kyoto, Namba, etc are literally on your doorstep. I would 100% stay here again.
