Great location, friendly staff but a tired hotel.
Dead flowers upon arrival at reception should have been an indication of our stay. The staff were very friendly & helpful but the hotel is tired & dirty. The telephone in our room (203) had no labels so l had to use my own telephone to ring the hotel to ask someone to come to our room to operate the television. Dirty carpet, scraped paintwork in our room was very disappointing. We were unable to sleep on our last night because the walls of the room are paper thin & the occupant of the room was snoring very loudly. It is such a pity because the staff are fabulous & the location of the hotel is great.

Poor 2.0
Only good thing is location
Everything about this hotel was absolutely disappointing. The rooms are in such a poor condition, in much need of an upgrade. The staff, though not rude weren’t particularly accomodating. I booked the room with breakfast (onviously bit more pricey) and this was the worst breakfast I have ever had, very simple, not variety and the same thing everyday as we were there for 3 days. The only upside is the location which is actually perfect! Close to everything. For the amount paid I expected so much more

Good 6.0
Not as good as you would expect.
In general, the hotel is not as nice as the pictures portray, the standard is actually quite poor. Even the breakfast was very poor. Although the staff is very service minded and helpful, basic details were missing: bathub was clogged up, robes were not clean, and minibars were empty.

Exceptional 10.0
Weeks Xmas Holiday
The location is excellent for convenience, walking 5 mins to Hyde Park and Piccadilly, 2 mins to Green Park, 5 mins to Buckingham Palace. The staff were helpful, polite, cheerful. The hotel was clean and inviting. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Fair 4.0
Bad experience, and out of date.
Last minute reservation due to public transport SWT engineer work over the festive season. We were woken up in the early hours due to some people fighting in there room on the First floor for over two hours arguing. I state it’s not the hotels fault. The hotel room looked out of date, and noisy and considering the rate over £200 a night, this did not reflect in the quality of our room. I did mention the flight to the reception the following morning regarding the noise when checking out, however the lady didn’t seem to of know what had happened so the night shift staff should of informed the morning shift so anyone else who had the same issue, at least the staff would of know the situation of the noise in the early hours.
