This is very clean and new hotel, tucked away in a quiet alley. The location is very close to the Kyoto train station, transportation is convenient. Staffs are very friendly and nice, they speak fluent English, a big plus for foreign travelers. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Great place to stay in Kyoto
Beautiful room with very comfy beds, hosts are super helpful and friendly. Centrally located easy to get to subway and main Kyoto stations. Only minor let down is breakfast consists of jam and breads but if thats ok then this is the best place to stay in Kyoto. Also no dark shutters for window so be prepared to wake up early. Would be hard to not give it a 10 out of 10

Excellent service
I had an excellent experience at the Hachi Inn. The proprietors were friendly, polite, very adept in English and very helpful. The room was large, with its own kitchenette. It was also very clean and the care in the structure of the room was evident. The Inn is located right in the downtown, a short distance from the train station. Overall, an excellent experience. I plan to stay here again the next time I visit Kyoto.

Hachi Inn is a wonderful place to stay in Kyoto. The location is great; only 5 minutes walk from Kyoto station (handy if you plan to do some day trips from Kyoto) and a short walk from the river, bus stops and the metro. 最初只有少量評語還有點擔心旅館質素, 但入住後發覺旅館很好. 旅館員工雖然不懂中文及英文, 但員工非常友善,房間很大, 而且房間很清潔, 如房間能夠提供支裝水會更好, 不過旅館附近有便利店, 所以不是一個問題. 京都車站只需步行6分鐘左右, 非常方便 極力推薦
