Excellent hotel, with large, well-appointed rooms in an area that is convenient for accessing things in Kyoto. The hotel staff members were excellent, so friendly and helpful. I forgot to make a dinner reservation for my first night in Kyoto, and the two ladies working the front desk called five places for me, and the one I visited was recommended by the hotel staff member and was incredible! The hotel also has a nice lounge. Great stay!

The room is spacious but unfortunately starting to feel less fresh.. Absolutely great place. Was my best and favourite accommodation while staying all throughout Japan. The room was clean. The room also had a JBL Bluetooth speaker, which was really fun to use while getting ready for the day. The lounge was an amazing surprise, with plenty of snacks, desserts, and drinks (including beer). The breakfast was free for us and was really easy to accommodate my partner, who had a nut and peanut allergy. All the food in the lounge has labels indicating dietary constraints, making it very easy to pick and choose what to eat. Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Kyoto.

The breakfast here is fantastic, healthy, and energizing - definitely worth including in your stay! The lounge also includes complimentary snacks and beverages during the day and evening, which was a nice touch. The room was clean and quiet, and very nice modern bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall this is a great boutique hotel in central Kyoto. In the lobby, a helpful book of recommended local restaurants was a great resource. Definitely eat at Kuon udon restaurant a few doors from the hotel - delicious and authentic experience!
