Very special beautiful old world hotel in a perfect location! They were kind enough to find us a bigger room with more windows and a fabulous view after our first night. Lovely breakfast each morning. Would stay here again next time in Venice! Loved it!!

It was relatively quiet compared to being on the grand canal though we could see the latter from our window and we were near everything.The rooms were lovely, the breakfast had many interesting food choices and the staff were great. Beautiful hotel in a quiet area but very close to The Grand Canal. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely garden to enjoy a glass of wine. 20 minute walk to St. Marks. The only negative about this hotel is the lack of an elevator.

10/10 recommend this property! It’s such a hidden gem in the perfect area. So quiet but also in walking distance to many restaurants and historic sights. We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to Venice in the future! The gardens both in the front and back are stunning and so relaxing. You feel like you have your own little oasis in the hot city. Breakfast is great, service is superb, rooms are a throw back into the past. Spring for a bigger room with the view of the canal and gardens you won’t be disappointed!

We had a great stay! The hotels staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable and the AC worked great! Full disclosure- Our room was on the third floor with no lift so pack light. The hotel generously loaned us beach towels so we could go to Lido for the day - which was fantastic. Restaurants and shopping nearby. 2 minute walk to vaporetto. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing service in Italian, English and French, the staff is ahead of our every need. They gave us access to our room ahead of time since it was ready. The breakfast was very good and well organized. The gardens are really nice. The room #42 was of sufficient size. All amenities were clean and in good working order. The shower was very nice spacious enough for us two. Wonderful Hotel!
We really enjoyed the hotel Pensione Accademia-Villa Maravege! It is located in a quiet area of Venice yet is walking distance to many shops, restaurants and attractions. The staff was very helpful giving directions and the breakfast offered a great variety of foods and was delicious! There is a beautiful garden area where you can eat outside and there is an additional pretty little park-like area in the back.

The hotel was an ideal location for water taxi’s pick up and drop offs. It was a nice hotel. Only issues we had was that the central air wasn’t working well and we had to keep telling the front desk to fix the issue. The other thing was that the hotel runs on low electric so you can’t bring your own blow dryer or clothing steamer because you will trip the circuit breaker. Also, they won’t bring an iron to your room, you have to go to the laundry area and iron it from there. I was supposed to have the VIP 20% off food and that wasn’t applied.
