Sacramento Embassy Suites Riverfront Promenade
We have always enjoyed Embassy Suites. This was our first time staying at the Sacramento location, and it will now be our "go to" place for trips to the city. Every staff member went out of their way to be welcoming to us, the facility was fine (as expected) and meals were very good. The location is easy to get to, at the edge of Old Town. This area has walking paths and the Crocker Museum nearby. We loved staying there !

Nice experience
Location is perfect, convenient, train tracks right next to it, perfect for train obsessed kids. Hotel is nice and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good too, the omelets and biscuits with gravy are delicious, nice selection of pastries and juices. Bedrooms are nice and spacious but could be cleaner. I dropped something on the corner between wall and bed and it was so dusty, that space has not been vacuumed in months! We found a used bandaid under/in the couch area, so vacuuming is definitely not priority :( Our family liked it and will definitely stay there again and hope next time the rooms are cleaner.

So, the location of the Embassy Suites is great - right on the river, across the street from Old Town. Just ideal. Decent restaurant/bar onsite. Friendly, helpful staff. And while the suite view was nice, the condition of the rugs and fabrics were definitely used, even borderline gross. I recommend socks when walking around
