I will return
After staying in a lot of hotels over the years in NYC, I think I have found a great quality for price ratio with this hotel. The room had to have been recently renovated and the bathrooms were tiled from floor to the ceiling and there were no mildew stains that you normally find on old hotel bathrooms revealing just how recently the room had been renovated. They also had something I had not seen before in the hotels I normally stay at in NYC, they had an umbrella in the closet to use during our stay along with the the other amenities a good hotel should have. The staff was very friendly and since my wife wanted Italian food, they recommended a very nice restaurant just across the street that was very good. One of the best aspects of the hotel was the door next to the elevator bank that opened up into the French restaurant that is on the corner of the building. We ate there three times' and had three wonderful meals without having to go outside in the cold. I will definitely check out the hotel to see if the prices have changed much since this visit. If they are about the same, I will definitly be staying there again.

Terrible 2 star hotel
I choose this hotel because it was mentioned its 4 star . I came all the way from dubai and this hotel doesnt even can be compared to our 2 star hotels. Not even complimentary water in room , bottle of water in room is 6.75$ . I asked for baby crib at time of booking , when i went to room i had to call front desk and request for Crib . Also i asked for handyman to fix lamp bulbs . Safebox in room wasnt working and ask handyman to fix it , it took him 30 minutes to fix the issue . View of room was roof of other buildings . When you arrive they say closest parking is ipark and they have discount if you say you are from hotel . So instead of 65$ you will be charged 50$ per night and thats only when you stamp parking ticket at front desk if not parking guy doesn't care . Dont park in there there are plenty of parkings around with rate of 40$ per night and i found out at second night . Hotel staff are nice and friendly . Coffee maker in room wasn't working properly , when you put capsule in it door of machine wouldn't close , so i had to push it down and hold it to until it finish's brewing . They charge 200$ for night , fair price of this hotel is less than 100$ . Overall rating is 2
