Hotels in Barberey-Saint-Sulpice

"Arrived 8:30pm Sat eve and told kitchen closed (could not see on hotels.com where to book in advance). After 7 hour journey had to get back in car and dine nearby. Returned to hotel 9:45pm to see guests eating in “closed” restaurant which was half empty. Toilet, bathroom, tiled floor all stained and dirty looking. Air con too smelly to keep on. Staff friendly. Bed comfortable enough. Very poor value for money. Would not recommend. "

"We could not rate the staff as we arrived late and left early so they did not have opportunity to recieve our issues. That said, I raised the issues with the site in their internal review and while apologetic they did not mention any of the issues we had said. "The hotel is clean and in a good location close to the autoroute. However, check in is a nightmare. We stay regularly at B&B in Coquelles; they have staff to check you in, but in Troyes it's self service an not very clever. Thet don't serve wine - unless red is your choice, but even then you can't have a glass - only a bottle. Not even pleasant about it.. Second time here, but it will be the last."

"The hotel is fine and a good value but the staff is exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. We needed help retrieving a lost item from our previous hotel and they helped us track it down. The location is good, only a short ride to down town Reims. The breakfast is good and the rooms are clean."

"This was such a a bargain! We are a family of 4 and got two interconnecting rooms, one with a double one with twin beds. We weren't expecting this so it was a nice surprise. Room was lovely, nice bathroom with big shower and double basins. Hotel is really close to the centre, 10 mins walk. We would definitely stay again."

Parking extra but only 7 EUR, breakfast 10.50 EUR - cold buffet, not a great selection but fresh warm good-quality croissants which were appreciated and nice coffee. "
