"An incredible place. From the property itself to the extremely friendly and helpful staff, and even the food at the restaurant. The main course with duck was out of this world."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Maison 1642. The hotel was beautiful and sparkling clean. We believe it was recently renovated and it was so pretty. The location was great too. We would love to return and stay again at Maison 1642."

"This was a fabulous hotel. Very friendly & helpful staff. Easy parking. Spacious, clean, elegant & comfortable room. Excellent restaurant dining & good breakfast choice. Beautiful garden filled with art sculptures. Our only regret is that our 1-night stay didn’t give us time to try the spa facility. We would definitely love to come back another time for a longer stay. (British couple staying for 1-night leisure trip.)"

"Allez y !

We had the most incredible stay at Chateau Sainte Sabine. From our arrival to departure everything was perfect and the staff couldn't have done more to make us comfortable. From drinks by the fire, to an amazing dinner and delicious breakfast it was something we'll always remember

We loved our stay here in Beaune! The hotel really went above and beyond to make our stay special, including nightly tea and chocolates. The town on Beaune is beautiful and very easy to walk to from the hotel. There are plenty of dining options and some cute stores in the town, and it’s a great base to explore the Burgundy region. I’d happily stay again!

The room was very clean and comfortable. What stood out was the friendliness of the staff at check in, in the restaurant and bar. The location was great, free parking on site was a plus.

Lovely hotel in Puligny Montrachet, a change from the bustle of lovely Beaune.
Our room was in a separate building which did not have a lift - which we would have appreciated. The staff are lovely.
The restaurant is excellent, the best meal we had in France, not sure of its Michelin status but the evening before we dined at Loiseau in Beaune (1 Michelin etoile) and Le Montrachet was easily better - every course was delicious. The restaurant staff were friendly and knowledgable and the wine...

Previously the Palace of Dijon, the interior has been refurbished elegantly and was a pleasure to spend 3 nights in. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Dijon.

Very comfortable hotel. This was a stopover on our way from Paris to Switzerland and was easy to find off the motorway. Not sure about getting into old Dijon. We had a very spacious room (room for disabled) so not sure if that was standard, but it was an excellent size so maybe ask for a disabled room if you are tired of tiny French hotel rooms.
Liked the secure parking, close to a couple of family style restaurants (the one we went to offered a discount to hotel guests and the food was...

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice.
Bonus of underground parking though it can be a little tight.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel near Burgundy
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Burgundy is between January and March, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a truly enriching experience, staying for at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the region's historical landmarks, cultural attractions, and stunning natural sites. During your visit, you could explore charming wineries, indulge in delightful dining experiences at local cafes, and take in the grandeur of historical castles and cathedrals. This timeframe offers great value for money, making it an ideal choice for those travelling on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover potential last-minute deals in Burgundy, begin by exploring the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, activating email alerts or push notifications will keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, helping ensure you don't miss any chances to save. The Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, making it easier to find the best deal. With this approach, you’re more likely to be alerted when rooms become available or prices drop.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your dates may help you save on your stay near the Burgundy hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and occasionally better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to enhance your chances of securing a better deal.
Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, yet it often comes with a higher price tag. For more budget-friendly options, you might consider hotels located in less central areas or neighbourhoods, allowing you to strike a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. Independent hotels situated a bit further out can also provide a more authentic experience that is usually more likely to be affordable.
